2nd annual Emmanuel Car Show!!!!!!

Free registration, Free admittance, Free BBQ and activities for children!!!!!!! August 28th at Emmanuel Baptist Church (basically on shiloh and monad) 328 So. Shiloh Rd. To register call me (Matt Evans) at 208-5473. I hope everybody enters their cars or at least makes it to the event! Last year was awesome! Shawn Lafavor was there, Buzz was too! (thats what I remember off the top of my head) But we had 55 cars last year, and gave away tons of prizes!

It was a great event... one of the best of the year. I like how you guys space the cars out. I'll be there for sure!

i wish i could make it. but the truck isnt moving at this point. pretty much over for me this summer

My buddy is getting a 700r4 off ebay for 1000(new)...rated for 625 hp...comes with a 2300 stall converter...built by tranny shop in florida!

I'll be there. Not sure which car I'll bring. Might try to get the Jag running since the Forester's all hailed out. Or maybe.....

Count me in!! I will bring the Lightning again this year!!!! I may even get the supeduty cleaned up and bring it too..
I will get my buddy SEan with the black Lightning to bring his also!!

just postin a new thread to keep this updated...if you are debating on entering...just enter!!! It is just like our MAEC meets that we do/car show...if you think your car isn't car show worthy...we had a geo metro convertible...so don't be shy!!! I hope to double our numbers this year and the word is the construction on shiloh will be done by the time of the car show!!!!!

I agree Matt. This show is gonna be awesome. already we have sponsors from oreilys and autotrim. I will be adding many more tomorrow! I will be out and about gathering prizes and sponsors and riddling the town with posters. I really think that we should have lots of MEAC members attend and participate. 406 customs is highly involved with this show and we would sure appreciate all the support we can get. Make sure you call or PM Matt if you want to be involved.

Is there a bike class? The Venge is down but I'd like to put the Schwinn in another show

nice job on the new classes. i was wondering last year. why there was not a truck class. cause there were some nice trucks there.

Let me talk to some people (I am the event coordinator but do not have the power to change rules by myself...) Maybe at the very least you could have it in the show, but there wouldn't be a Class or "trophy/ribbon" for it...I will let you know.

Haha it's cool, I don't need a trophy or ribbon or a class as long as I can just park it by the rest of the crew You won't BELIEVE how much attention that thing gets. I have yet to stop and get gas and not have someone come over to talk about it with me.

I'm still waiting on word if Josh's car will be at the car show...I posted this in another thread but will post again on this one...if anyone knows Brittney will they contact her and ask if she will put it in...I think it would be a great remembrance/tribute to have it there!

we invited many bikes last year, but had none show up. If there were a bunch of bikes randomly show up this year, then i guess we would have no choice but to have a class prize for them. IMO car shows are about the pride of showing off your hard work whether it be car, truck, bike, engine, body, sound, ect. prizes are just a bonus. I can guarantee that this will be a great show. no one will be bored. lots of family friendly activities and PLENTY of car guys to bs with. Anyone who is not working on the morning of aug 28th should bring their car and themselves for a fun time.

This show is now supported by, Lisac tire, Master lube, Tire-rama, Proauto sound and security, Auto Trim Design, Oreilys, and more to come!

Hey Todd, we can rope our bikes together and call ourselves a car.

Or we can take a side-car and turn it into a "middle-car"

Side-car = radio flyer wagon.

I believe signup starts is from 9:00 to 10:00 with the show starting at 10. If its something different than that I will post it up.
