| Why a T70? Why not a turbo that will flow just as much but spool way quicker? On an RB a GT35r would be sweet, easy 500hp with all the supporting mods. | |

i agree, the 35r would be more then enough to make great power. better mid-range less lag sound good to me. a t70 is "WANGAN STYLE" for sho!

| Not to mention almost all T70 turbo's are generic knock off ebay turbo's. In a corolla the rear end isn't even going to hold up to the Tq a stock turbo will through at it so I hope you have plans to do some work with the rear end. I'd go with something like a 2871 and have fast spool and be able to make 400hp, that would be insane in a corolla, any more power than that unless this is a purpose built drag car seems like overkill. Heck even 350hp in those cars will be insane and very hard to get to the ground let alone handle. | |

| a turbonetics tc76 will spool just as fast as a t70, and it is a nice small frame. makes some awesome power. if you are on a budget try to find a master power t70. they are decant units, they have a older designe, but are dirt chaep. | |

| Yes... the sr5 rear end will die... quickly.
He'll have plenty of power with the rb, I would suggest going the route that Jason posted.

| Coming from owning a high hp rwd car I would suggest starting with a smaller turbo and getting to know the car and how it handles. Look at Nels for example, his car has less power than many but kills them all at the SCCA's because he can handle and drive it very well, I had 2-3 times the power and would have never been able to control the 240 on a small SCCA track. I know even myself its easy to chase after power but having had it I did love it sometimes but think I'll probably have more fun with a simpler lower hp car. | |

| I know a lot of the guys that swap sr20's or f20's destroy those rear ends with 200whp so the rb should make quick work of that rear end especially if you upgrade the turbo.
a gt-s rearend with a good lSD should last you quite a bit longer.
whats the update on the progress of the car?

| maybe... send me a PM with more details and what your time frame is.
What have you done as far as upgrading the fuel system... I assume you have a full custom setup since that car was originally an sr-5
