No shit? What model? I've got an '01 EXC 520 with a supermoto conversion.

Setting up some bike cruises would be great! We should get a bikes section in the forum going. Besides the KTM, I've of course got the '74 Honda CT-90, and I just picked up a '94 ZX9R that I need to fix a few things on.

any bike will kill you, i say stay off the street and stick to the dirt for 2-3 years and learn to respect a motorcycle and feeling how it handle in all situations.

very good point. anybody can twist a throttle. i had a bike a few years back and i got rid of it for a few reason. one being i couldnt control myself on it. every time id ride it. it was ballz to the wall. they are crazy fast. over the past few year i have grown u a bit and now i value my life more. its crazy once you start to age a bit you use your head a bit more. so if you get a bike just take it easy.

We just picked up a lightly used Ninja 250 for my wife today, so we will plan to be at City Brew at 10 tomorrow morning AS LONG AS it is nice out. The bike is new to her and she hasn't really ridden at all in a year, so don't let us hold you back if you guys like to ride fast Wink

Still thinking 10am? Only supposed to be in the mid 50s that early but gets nicer as the day goes on. I gotta admit, I'm a fair weather rider, would rather do some riding closer to noon when it is supposed to be in the upper 60s. By mid afternoon, it is supposed to be mid to upper 70s, should be a nice day.

Good bike for her, Sonya started on one of those a few years ago, a red '06. Just have her take it easy until she is comfortable on it. Does she have much experience riding? Might consider the MSF course for her if you haven't already, it was some good instruction depending on rider previous experience.

It was really foggy and cold here this am so we didn't head out. Hoping to get a ride in later when it clears up. Supposed to be warm and sunny later!

My wife has been riding for several years, just this bike is new to her. She had an older 250 way back, then rode a GS500, then tried my SV650 but never got comfortable on it- too tall and top heavy for her. Anyway, the 250 is perfect for her, light and nimble.
