MAEC shirts made by Dorki Dori

I had some Team Sprock shirts made by Lenn from Dorki Dori and was thinking of having him make up some MAEC shirts. I wanted to judge interest and what sizes everyone would want. If there is enough interest I will have him draw up a proof. Many of you have probably seen his work since he does a lot of automotive related shirts.

Once he draws up a proof and we decide on the design I will place an order, those interested in prepaying will get a discount and be guaranteed a shirt. I will order extra but for this first batch I will not get too many so I am not stuck with a bunch of shirts. The shirts run about one size small, I wear a large but if you have big shoulders I would recommend an XL. Bigger buys will need a XXL. If you'd rather PM feel free. I will make a list, I need a minimum order of 20 shirts before he will accept the order.

Lenn does great work, here is couple pictures of the TS shirts he made for us. These where in the bottom of the box so they are pretty wrinkled but still you can see the quality, this is not just your local print shop. Lenn is also a great artist and will make it look better than a simple "paint brush" designed shirt. I also will be ordering some "Show me your boofer" shirts that will also be on sale.




And this is a proof of the TS shirts he designed up, some are simple only because I requested very plain designs. The 04 style Show me your boofer will also be available so let me know if you want one of those as well.

I will be down for some. So do you know if this will be something that we will be able to get in different colors if so id be down for 3 or 4 in large and probably 2 in med. Just keep us updated. If I forget about this just pm me.

Yes we can do a couple different colors, I was thinking, black, blue, red or grey. Switching ink colors cost more so we can't get too wild but if we do the same design on different shirts or two colors of ink on 3-4 colors of shirts that will work perfect.

Ben I think you'd probably prefer an XL in both, the Large grey are slightly smaller than the other shirts. The Large grey is a little tight on me. Looks like we could get to a minimum order quick so I will have him start working on a proof.

I just sent Lenn over the MAEC logo so he can work his magic, hopefully in a day or two I will have a proof to share with everyone.

Nik thanks we had 20 of the 02 style made up in two colors, those are all sold already though. The show me your boofer shirt will be a limited made TS shirt with a TS star on the back. It may be the only time we sell shirts with the TS star on it for a while.

Once the proof is done and everyone can get a better idea of what and how many they want I can accept cash, check or paypal. I'll keep track of everyone that pays so I can be sure to get your shirt to you as soon as it gets here.

Looks like we're around 14-15 shirts right now, Lenn is working on the proof right now. If we can get to 18 pre-paid shirts I'll probably grab 2 more to get the minimum met and get the order placed. I'll probably hold off for a few days once the proof is up so anyone that hasn't been on in a while will have the chance to get in on this.

how big do they go?

Not sure I think as big as your typical Hanes T-shirt so I would guess XXXXL. I can check on that. What size ya looking for?

well, i will take two 3x and two 4x, just in case..one in black and one in blue, in each size, if possible.

I am curious to see what a medium looks like. Most the of the shirts I wear are mediums and that is the reason I ask.

The mediums fit Tessa and my sister so I would think they would be too small for you, unless you wanna show some skin ha ha. I wear a medium sometimes too and a large is perfect. You can swing by and try on one of my Large TS shirts if you want to.

I will trust you and go with a large. I will take a boofer shirt also.

Maybe next year for Lewistown we can have some shirts made up that say:

I went to Lewistown and all I got was crabs, some scratches on my bumper from going off track, and this lousy T-shirt!

Ok what size? I'm keeping a spreadsheet with names, colors and sizes so I can mark when everyone is paid and they receive the shirts. I want to make sure everyone gets the right size and color.

$18 if you pre-pay, $20 if you wait for them to get here. Pre-paying just helps me feel better I am not going to be stuck with 20 shirts so I if I am covering the cost I want to get a few bucks in return for putting up the cash.

Once I get my shirt can I take it to them and have them put my username on the back? Or could I just pay a little extra for that from the get-go?

You'd have to have that done here sorry, it would cost an extra $20 to make a screen just for one shirt so your really better off anyways just having it done here cost wise.

Just found out Lenn went on Vacation for a few weeks so sorry he forgot to send the proof. Hopefully as soon as he returns we'll get the proof. Sorry for the delay. I'll keep the list and once we finally get the proof I will double check with everyone to make sure they are still wanting what they said.

I have all the time in the world, no hurry.

Just heard back on the design, apparently the auto-response was a typo and he was only on vacation for 4 days. He said the proof will be done by the end of the week. I also ordered up some TS shirts like each of the designs posted above that may be for sale to a select few who we deem special ha ha. TS love for everyone!

How to you deem worthiness? Is it based on the number of years you have known someone? How cute they are? Speed of their car? Nice backside?
