Still no word on the shop. It has been super nice out the last week and still no sign. He was suppose to show up Wednesday of last week and we have not seen him since. Hope he shows today.

Just got home and no sign. I am frickin' pissed!

IT'S A MIRACLE, our guy showed up today and is placing the posts. Said most of the framing will be done by tomorrow.

Framework is almost done. Wow, he has been here 3 days in a row.

All that is left is placing the trusses and a few small details. Might actually have a shop pretty soon..

Framing on the shop is complete. I believe the sheet metal will be going on this week. Found a nice set of wall mount/shutter door fans that I will probably purchase. There will be 3 of them running at 6800CFM. According to the CFM calculator used it should be about 10 times what I need, clearing the entire paint area in 10 seconds.

Hope to have a shop by the end of the week, minus the floor of course.

All that is left is the roof which will be going on Monday. One of these days we will have a shop.

Shop progression. Walk-in door will be installed tomorrow along with a few other odds and ends. At the end of the week I believe the gravel will be here for the concrete. I would guess a couple weeks till completion.

I also have 20' of 1/2" copper with junctions for a wall mounted air supply. Very sad, but stoked at the same time. This stuff is really starting to add up.

Here is my sunroof that Drew and I sprayed yesterday with Single Stage and Flat Clear. I decided this morning to wet sand and polish one side to see what a difference it makes. Pretty substantial.

Sure was nice to get the SATA Jet out again. Took a few minutes to get back in the groove, but after everything on the gun was tightened up things went great, not so great when it was loose. We spent a few minutes sanding the panel and didnt even primer. Just wanted to see the difference between regular clear and flat clear. To my suprise they actually go down about the same showing full reflection and when the flat clear starts curing it flattens out. Pretty neat.

looks good. Got any advice on a cheap gun to start out with. I am need to get a gun to paint a few of my own vehicles. Been looking at devilbiss

DevilBiss are not too bad. I actually purchased one for my first gun and it worked pretty good.

Here are a few updated pics from this afternoon. Paintbooth wall is almost framed. The massive 8ft hole in frame wall separating the booth from the shop is the 4ft sliding door we are going to put in. The rest of the concrete for the exterior pad will be here Monday.

Just ordered my paint booth lights. This week I believe the shop should be almost complete minus insulation and sheet rock.

I get more and more excited every day! This shop is going to be nuts!

Your eyes do not deceive you, those are paint booth lights INSTALLED! Drew and I spent all day getting them cut in and wired along with installing a good portion of the insulation in the walls. I would guess sheet rock by next weekend. Getting pretty excited!

Looking pretty sweet Mike. Now you better just throw a lift and a dyno in ha ha!

Well heading out to the shop now. I only have 2 pieces of sheet rock left to put up and some sanding to do. Also hoping to have the rest of my car sanded today. Should be ready for painting here in the next couple days.

I might actually take some new pics today as I have not for 3 weeks now. Pretty much done.

Paint booth is done and ready for spraying. All that really needs to be done is trim the lights, doors, and fans. Going to start painting the Dragon this week.

Well after many hard hours of work the booth is COMPLETE!! The DRAGON is going in tomorrow!!
