If anyone would like to commit to an evil bitch of a car, I have the perfect one for you.
My '86 Regal T-Type is just the bitch for you, god knows she hates me.
Mod list as long as my arm. Something went wrong with the #1 cyl, think a ring land as it started getting massive blow by. The head is off now and the cylinder looks good, probably just going to need a set of pistons and rings. With some forged slugs in there (has aftermarket hypers, dunno why), it wouldn't take much to put it in the 10s and have one of the fastest street cars in town. Good winter project for someone but I want it out of my garage (we have way too many vehicles for just the 2 of us).
Here are the mods...
Stock Block
Ported Heads and Intake
RJC BulletProof Head Gaskets (can be reused but I'd suggest another set after rebuild)
70mm Accufab TB & Plenum
Full Throttle Rev-X 210/215 hydraulic roller cam with Crane lifters
65lb Mototron Injectors
TA64 Turbo
ESP Front Mount
MAFT Pro w/ Wideband and Boost Control
Razor's Alky
Walbro 340 Hotwired
THDP w/ Dump
ATR 3" Single Shot
Tinman Cold Air
Turbo 400 w/ AC 3600 Converter
There are others too, all the little stuff that makes the above mods complete.
The body is in very good shape, small rust spot in the drivers rear quarter, otherwise remarkably little rust. Paint is passable but not great. Interior is nice but needs a new center console (one in there looks ok but the foundations on it are broken up pretty bad). For the age, I think it is a nice car. The foundation is there for a killer street / strip car, Turbo 400 transmission, 8.5" 10 bolt, turbo buicks are known for their drag strip prowess and it is rare as hell to see around this part of the country. If you want to go stupid fast, throw a turbo LSX motor in there, the rest of the car is ready to take it. Parting out the motor would probably pay for a good portion of an LSX build.
$6500 takes it, no lowballs. I bought it in worse shape a few years back for $3k more than that (and have probably another $4k in it since then). It shouldn't take anywhere near $3k to have it screaming down the 1/4 again.
