| Hmm. I thought if you have a stock 1g car and put the 2g maf and pipe on it, you need 550cc injectors or else it'll run lean. | |

| That could be the issue. I just couldn't imagine that it would affect the fuel trims that much though, ya know? I'm gonna slap the stocker back on and we'll see if that was the difference. | |

| Does it miss or sputter at all? Like you said, vacuum or boost leak sounds right, esp with those breather hoses being fucked with. | |

| Sorry, never got back to check the thread.
Sadly I don't have a CAS laying around.
Cy, as for the 2g mas, I did some more reading and guess the computer can't compensate on it's own and I was hitting fuel cut. So I threw the stocked back on and am now just waiting to get some tuning software and I will toss the 2g back on and my 550s and tune the biatch.

| I have a MAF translator pro for sale if you need something to tune with. you can run a GM 3.5 maf in blow thru or run it with a IAT and MAP in speed density | |

| I love taking over A YEAR to update threads. God, has it really been that long? Well, the car is under the knife right now. Over the course of the next week and a half I will be putting on the new turbo, manifold, FMIC, short route hard pipes, new head, new valve cover, catch can, cruise control delete with direct throttle cable, new hatch, new rear end, getting rid of the wing, and gettin this puppy ready for winter! So......anyone want to buy a 5piece talon wing? | |

| Well, once again I am the king of taking over a year for each update. Shit is finally on the car. I will TRY to remember to post pics tomorrow. I will make a more detailed update then too. I have the day off so I am going to try to get the car back to perfect running. Time to be lazy though, so this was basically just a bullshit update to tell everyone I am gonna play Civ 5. | |

| So here is a picture of the engine bay now. Started it up and it ran fine. Drove down to the gas station to get some more fuel and everything was going good. Need to fix a few small issues. The first being a new way to keep my throttle cable from moving, but I think I already have an idea for that. The next being that my car was heating up and the heater was working fine, but my temp gauge wasn't moving at all..... and then it threw a check engine code. I am assuming that the code is related to the car thinking that the thermostat went bad, but I am not positive of the issue yet. Gonna do a little more work on it tomorrow after school to make sure that everything is fine, but as for now it sounds good and moves, so i'm calling it a success. It's kind of sad that the prettiest thing in the engine bay is the battery now.

| There we go, I hosted the image on a new site. It wasn't working earlier. There is a super slow leak where the oil return connects to the oil pan, but I think it is just a bad gasket, so when I seafoam the car I will replace that gasket when i drain the oil. | |

| Also, that stupid heat wrap is starting to turn brown. Why is it burning? Can it be that my car is just running hotter than hell? | |

| No, that heat wrap always does that shit after awhile. Road grime+heat+the fact that your waste gate dumps right there=dirty bay and heat wrap. Or is there a dump tube you haven't put on yet? If you don't have a dump tube, you should get one and route that shit out of the bay. Nice job keeping the BOV routed back to the intake. When I'm done with mine, I will do the same. Keep it up, man. Post some more pics of the whole car tho, I want to see the beast. | |

| Just ordered some tuning software. As of right now it is still missing a rad fan, exhaust that fits and the wideband o2 needs to be hooked up. A few more small wiring issues need to be address also. | |
