| As I was going to school yesterday, I got on it to pass a car in second gear. Right before the EWG opened up my car hesitated for a split second then proceeded to accelerate. It is still doing it and I can't figure out what the issue would be. My guess is that it has to be fuel related.
Before this, I had a misfire on cylinder two. I took my car to Erik at Rimrock over last weekend he ran a compression test which checked out good, checked the timing, and switched the cylinder two coil pack to cylinder three. The misfire still stayed on cylinder 2 so it must be the cylinder 2 injector that is bad. BUT! the weird part is that before I left for Bozeman on sunday, I cleared the CEL and it hasn't came on since. I don't even feel the misfire at idle anymore.
Does anyone have ANY idea what the hell is going on with my car? Feel free to ask me questions, I want this problem taken care of. Chances are I'm going to be going back to the stock turbo which will be internally gated along with the stock injectors. | |

| why not swap around injectors say #2 to #3 and 3 to 2? see if that moves the miss. | |

| Well originally that was the plan. However, since there isn't a miss on cylinder two anymore it won't matter. The misfire wasn't even that big of a problem. The hesitation definitely is a problem though. | |

| If you are positive it is happening every time right before the wastegate opens op that may be your problem. Do you have an accurate boost gauge? The only thing I can think is that maybe your wastegate is getting stuck closed, then in that second before it opens boost spikes up. On my car, when the boost spikes past what the car is tuned for, the ECU freaks out, adjusts timing, and dumps in gas to keep it from leaning out too much. Not sure how subies are set up but I would check that the WG is functioning properly. | |
