| Was coming back from Bozeman last night in the blue Talon. Made pretty good time most of the way. Roads are snowy and icy, but visibility was great. Between Big Timber and Columbus was awful, though. Got stuck behind a semi, was tryna just follow him, but he was kicking up so much damn snodust that I could barely see his tail lights. I decided to just back off and get out of the cloud, but that was a mistake. When I started to slow down, I lost visibility of his lights but still couldn't see the road. Drove off the embankment, went through a metal wire fence. Didn't roll, but I traveled a good couple hundred feet off the freeway. Got out, and it turned out I was in a ditch by some dirt road. As luck would have it, the car had no problem driving out of the ditch, so I drove into Columbus. Lost a headlight, bumper's broken, dent by the drivers door that makes it not open properly, everythings scratched up from the fence, and a bunch of snow got shoved into my electric radiator fan and broke it. Other than that, it's fine. Made it back to Billings, and still managed to average 56mph on the whole trip. My insurance company is going to hate me, especially since I added rental car compensation 3 days ago. | |

| It snowed even worse around here today. The accident could have happened a lot closer. It's super lucky it was able to get out of there. | |

| Yeah, I was lucky I didn't roll or hit anything hard. They'll probably wanna total out my car, which is fine by me because I couldn't give a shit about cosmetic damage, so they'll give me a chunk of change and all I'll do is fix the headlight, duct tape the bumper, pry out the fender by the door, and spend the money on a new turbo. | |

| Yeah, this has been quite the storm. Dont remember the last time I have seen and heard of cars going off the road. I heard Friday there were 120 cars off the road between here and Columbus. | |

| Just glad there weren't that many people hurt. I know there was a nasty crash out at Silesia but other than that I don't think that many people sustained injuries. My wife was out in the Heights last night and it was a real mess. Super slick. | |

Yep, from Laurel to Big Timber is the worst. When I left Friday night, I saw about 5 from here to Laurel, a couple from Laurel to Columbus, and probably 10 between Columbus and Big Timber. In one 1-mile stretch there were 4 cars in the ditch and a semi that slid off and rolled. I did fine all through there, doin about 70 no less, and only went off the damn road cause the semi I was following kicked up so much snow that I lost sight of his tail lights and couldn't see shit. On the upside, I added rental car coverage to my insurance a few days ago, and looks like I might be getting a Legacy for a month. | |

| Much luck to ya! It's a fun drive if you can see. The ice isn't so bad because since the freeways are designed for rather high speed driving, all the corners are gradual and banked. I'm normally able to clip along at the speed limit in the ice and snow. Oh, so I totally scored a Subaru Legacy as a rental car, and it absolutely love it. Sooo much room, handles great in the snow, and best of all, the e-brake works perfectly! | |
