Use some goddamn punctuation, and spell correctly people. I am sick of reading these posts that look like they came from a 12 yr old girl with down syndrome. It takes all of an extra second to add a period to the end of a sentence, so fucking do it.

Sorry brother man. sometimes i catch myself going to fast. for the most part i try to use good grammar as much as possible.

Haha! A lot of the posts on here make my head hurt. Word regurgitation = fail.

Shawn, I'd have to say you're not one of the offenders. What drives me nuts is the non stop words with no capitalization, punctuation and just one giant run on sentence that 95% of the time makes no sense anyways.

I am sure most of you dont notice, but I fix a large amount of the spelling errors. It is a huge pet peeve of mine, not saying that I am perfect, but it really bothers me.

Wow now that you have pointed this out. its really bothering me. It's pretty bad. Its not the spelling that bothers me. its the continuous sentences without any punctuation.

Sorry for this...... I will admit that I am one of the couplrates of this crime..... I will clean up my sentances, punctuation, and grammar. Therefore I can sound more intellegent!!!!

maybe i'm being a little stereotypical, and i'm being completely serious. it seems to mostly be Honda guys that mis spell stuff.. that's just what I've noticed.. hahah i thought of some jokes along with that too.... Maybe they can't spell right cuz they aren't smart enough to mod a real car. Hahah or, since their slow with cars, they might as well be slow in the head and type badly. hahah i don't actually mean those jokes! i just thought they were kinda funny! hahah

and yes i realize I have a Honda.

Its not egotistical in any shape way or form. Its pathetic that people on here who "represent the local car comunity" can't get above typing as if they're text messaging their 15 year old girlfriends. I'm not bitching about one or two mispelled words, I'm complaining about the people who constantly write paragraphs without a single period in them, not one capital letter, or a single comma, apostrophe, etc... It makes my head hurt tryhing to decipher the "ebonics" that are being typed.

You know... growing up I barely passed English class.... all that crap just didn't mean anything to me. But now after being out of school and being misunderstood so much for lack of typing skills it has become more important to me. Because anyone that knows me would agree my sense of sarcasm can be hard to understand in person sometimes..... let alone on a forum. So the better I type and use proper grammar the less chance I have in a total melt down of communication.

So I guess I have to agree. And I would now tell the people that can't type or talk the same thing I would tell an illegal immigrant. Learn English or leave the United States. Plain and simple.

Sigh....... Winter time means we get to bitch about everything. I think the lack of grammar and punctuation on here is due to laziness. I agree it is annoying but if it starts to hurt my reading then I skip the post, shake my head due to the stupidity, and move on with life.

Maybe I should lighten up, but if no one says anything I'm afraid it will only get worse. I'll admit I'm a grammar Nazi and a human spell-check for the most part. I dont want to get into the proper use of grammer, spelling, and punctuation or there lack of. That being said, it can make or break the chance of your post being responded to. I cant count how many times I have read the title to a post, thinking this sounds interesting or that perhaps I might have something to add that may be of some help to the poster. Once the topic is opened, due to such poor communication through the exact topic at hand, you cant understand what it actually is they are asking so you skip over it without a second thought.

Not so much in text form, but in spoken, grammer is definetely one of my biggest pet peeves. One thing that gets me everytime yet makes me actually laugh, is when someone askes if I can "borrow them some money". I simply reply "It's lend" and they just look at me like a deer caught in the headlights.

This may be an auto forum but it is annoying as hell when someone is asking for help and I can't understand what they are saying because they don't use any punctuation at all. Paragraphs of information should have a couple periods in there once in a while, just so I can tell what is going on.

I can understand the frustration with grammar on here. NASIOC has criticized me for a post because I didn't double space in between my sentences. A little overkill on their part but I respected their wishes and haven't had any issues since. Poor grammar does make you look an idiot. Come on people punctuation was taught in school so stop being lazy and use it; correctly. Thanks.
