97 miata

Not an MX-5, worth buying? $1500

also, I guess I am looking around and can't find any information on 97 miatas that AREN'T mx-5s? Are ALL miatas from that year MX-5?
I'm so confused?!?!

theyre only called mx5 in europe and america 06+
in america before 06 their called miatas or in japan their called enuos roadsters for the NA chassis (not sure about NB or NC chassis)

i paid 3000 for my 92 sunburst yellow in arizona (in the top 5 rarest colors iirc) with 90k miles and in good shape

Oh. I see. Good to know. I know I don't need another car, but if this guy is for real and there isn't anything wrong with this, I can't imagine passing it up. Only real hang up is that the car is in Helena I think.......minor setback.

I know the interior is a little captain rice and there are some wires hanging down from the steering rack(he said the car didn't have that bottom plastic cover when he bought it) but I feel like it could be a good buy?

also, do you know of any good miata forums I can go research on?

pics not working but if you end up picking it up ive got saturday sunday off from work if you want someone who knows what to look for on miatas

the bottom steering cover i took off because it wouldnt stay in place so thats most likely not aproblem

miataturbo.net (great tech info for turbos and performance, best/ most budget way to get hp out of a bp engine (damn near bulletproof as far as engines go)
clubroadster.net (great place to shoot the shit about miatas and in general, also pretty stance oriented but still a cool crowd)
