i have a 2000 civic with a b18c1 engine. the throttle cable is really ghetto. who ever swapped the motor in tied a not it the cable right before the throttle body to take slack out. i want to just redo it. it still has the factory gsr intake manifold on it. what throttle cable should i use? some one said an integra ls one, some one else said one from a 99 or 00 si. any one got some insight on this?

I'd run the EM1 cable (99-00 SI)., They came with a factory B series in them. Only difference would be the GSR intake manifold vs. B16 manifold, but I'd imagine the cable would be the same. I don't know why anyone would put a knot in it. You just clamp the cable down somewhere else along the route...

I know the Integra LS throttle cable is a shorter cable than what came in your car, but it is probably the same length as the 99-00 Si cable, so either way should work.

If it still has factory intake and throttle body you need to use the really long gsr throttle cable unless you swap the rotor on the throttle body or complete throttle body!!

I'm sure between all the spare parts we all have laying around, one of us would have a rotor you could grab off a throttle body. I actually think I may have an LS TB with no sensors in my garage. Its yours if I can find it and you want it.
