| Better buy it now then. Not that this actually has ANY chance of getting all the way through the house, but if it does you can bet your sweet muffins that the prices on these cars are going to skyrocket. Go pick one up now in alberta for 8k, before the same car becomes 28k | |

| I don't see why people aren't just importing the drivetrains and slapping them in existing cars. | |

| I was sig 1608 a few days ago. Chances are probably thin anything will happen with it, but it'd be cool.
And you've got a point about the prices skyrocketing. I am sure if this ever did pass they would overnight.
You can get foreign cars pretty cheap from Japan, even the shipping isn't terrible - its trying to get it past Customs and even harder yet, registered.
I wonder how all the non-registered cars come into the country? As track/offroad vehicles? I've never cared enough to look into it too much.

| The thing to do would be to start importing them now while prices are low. And one might be able to modify some of them enough to classify them as kit cars or offroad vehicles. | |

| Ive seen a few skylines registered as s13s in ND. But Id never be able to drive it knowing they could just straight up legally car jack you.
Kit car is a great loop hole if you can get it right
