Updated the first post with a bit more information.

A week and a half away. How many confirmed people are showing up?

Guessing it will be about 20 or so. Guess we will see what happens.

Not sure if I will be running or not unfortunately, I am having wastegate issues, so if I cannot get a new bottom half for it I am screwed. Talked with TiAL about getting mine fixed and they said they should not have any problem getting it done very quickly. Crossing my fingers.

I still don't have a raceable car, but if anyone's got room, would love to ride out, work the course and take pics.

Ill be there for sure this year!

Being that this is my first year, what are people doing for accommodation? I heard something about camping. Also, what are the hours we'll be running?
A starter guide for first time runners would be great on what to bring, expect, etc.

Staying on the grounds will be optional. I believe most people will be staying in Hotels. As far as running goes, we will go till we run out of steam or lose our sunlight.

We will go over everything up at the track at our drivers meeting. Just make sure your car is sound and ready for a hot day of driving along with having a helmet (if you will have a passenger they will also need one).

And we should remind everyone who hasn't done so recently to BLEED YOUR BRAKES with high-temp DOT4 fluid before hitting the track.

I will be heading to Lewistown on Friday evening, so you guys will be responsible for creating a convoy if you will be leaving Saturday in the early AM. I would like to have everyone up there by 8:00am so you can get checked in. Drivers meeting will be at 9:00am, if you miss the meeting you will have to wait till I am either done running or lunchtime to run, so be there early!

We're gonna head up Sat morning, planning to go through Roundup despite 8 miles of road const south of roundup. Anyone that wants to caravan w us should meet @ All American pharmaceutical parking lot fueled up & ready to roll. We'll leave from there @ 430AM

Also, after seeing Sarah's post about road construction, I checked MDT website, from 8 miles S of Roundup into town there is roto milling & resurfacing, 35 MPH in case anyone is worried bout tar, rock chips or clearance issues.

Should take highway 3 instead. Faster, and fewer fuzz.

And if anyone's got room, I could use a ride. :p

I drove up to Roundup a few days ago and the 35mph portion wasn't too big of a delay. Going through Lavina seems a little out of the way, as it adds 20 miles.

Pretty much the best Lewistown ever! Had an awesome time with everyone. Thanks for those of you who ended up coming out for the event, it is very much appreciated.

Also, thanks to Frank and RJ for the donation toward the remaining balance on the track. More than likely I will just put it toward your entry for August.

Everything about the weekend was EPIC! Good people and good fun. Thanks to everyone who made it happen, I no doubt will be at the next one and many more to come

It's not like I had anything else to do.... At least your car made it around the track a few times instead of sitting there just looking pretty. Maybe next time, right?

But seriously? How are there 20 Subie's to every 1 Honda around here and yet the exact opposite is shown on "race day"? WTF?
And they're saying they "don't want to break their cars"? If my freaking car can handle all the problems I've had and all the beatings I've put it through and still made it around that track as many times as I have, they should have NOTHING to worry about in their "race cars!"


(BTW Frank, I'd like to see some of our wedding pics whenever you get the time to emailing them You and Mikey were ON that shit! Our photographer couldn't believe that just our friends had better camera's then her LOL!!)

Ya, if Kaitlin's WRX ("Jeremy's") put up with as much abuse as he put it thru, and never really "broke it" then everyone else should have nothing to worry about!!

Even the activity of Billings people is dropping at a ridiculous pace, there's also a slight devision between the youngers drivers and those of us that have been in the community for a while. None of it helps.
