| First, I hope this is the correct spot for this, if not mods feel free to move it. So my build has finally crested the top of the hill and I'm beginning to save some cash so I can get this beast tuned. First off I'm going to be running an AP ( Don't tell me they suck, I don't care I'm going to be running Speed Density). With that being said I'll be required to use a tuner that uses the Cobb Accessport PROtuner. I was planning on heading to Surgeline around the time of WCSS to get tuned and then hit up the show, but with how much time I'd have to take off from work that's not a very financially responsible decision. So I'm looking for a reputable tuner either in Denver (The Boost Creep?) or the Spokane area. All suggestions are welcome and I appreciate the advice!
P.S. Car is a 2004 STi, fully forged bottom end, GT3076R and all the supporting goodies.

| Can't help you with where to go, but let me know what you end up doing. I'm running the AP on the TransForester too. | |

| I "LOVE" my gt3076r... Spools fast minus the lag!!! Good luck my friend. If I remember right at 3k I was making 150rwtq and 4k over 300rwtq. So very quick spool for a 76mm inducer and quite a punch of power as well. when your done you'll have one bad mo fo! | |

| I had a really hard time deciding between the GT35 and the GT30, but I decided on the GT30 for a good amount of power while still being fine to daily drive. I definitely can't wait to see what she puts down, I don't have any headwork done as it's already been over a year and a half since the car took a chit on me, but 400whp should be no issue with the forged internals | |

| Oh I'm always willing to play 21 questions Yes, I am in Billings. Injector Dynamics 1000cc Injectors Aeromotive 340lph fuel pump Stock compression, 8.2:1 Stock cams I haven't made a decision on fuel yet, maybe do a map for 104 so I can stay away from the leaded fuels? Who knows though. AP is not already on the car and probably won't be purchased until I embark on my tuning trip. I will be ordering this kit for the speed density conversion: http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2308523&highlight=cobb+speed+densityI will being towing the car to where ever I'm going to have it tuned. As far as a time frame goes, I'm still in the process of getting the block together and getting everything ready to go onto the car. Also, I will be looking to have a map made for me for the break in period. Would you guys be willing to take care of me for the right price? Thanks for all your help in advance Eric! | |

| all sounds good to me, we can supply everything you need including tuning/break in tune and speed density/AP. You also mentioned your still working on putting the block/everything together. If there is anything else we can help with before your tuning needs always feel free to let me know. (our site is rather dated and does not list half the manufactures we work with at this point) I welcome any and all special requests from my fellow MT residents tuning@brewedmotorsports.com of course feel free to ask any other questions you can come up with! as for your turbo, is this the stock location 3076 from ATP or a rotated mount set up? | |

| If an e-tune won't do, I would drive to the Boost Creep. | |

| I'm sure an e-tune would suffice, I'd really like to have a dyno chart at the same time though. | |

| E-tune works well to get things started if the tuner isn't local. Once she dialed E-tuning works well for some small changes on your map. Over all it's a great way to make tweaks on the fly so to speak. | |

| Hey Nate i also do tons of full E-tunes. (SR20, KA, RB, 4g63, EJ25) AEM, stock ecu, AP, PowerFC. Of course fine tuning things is also very popular for E tunes. I also provide you with a dyno chart for all tunes including E-tuning. You will just need to find a nice smooth, flat, straight road to do 4th gear pulls from 2000rpm to Red line at full throttle. Dyno results are VERY accurate as they are based of your data logs, gearing, weight, drag. The software is able to calculate torque and HP the same way a dyno does (time vs rise in RPM) only difference is your using the real world to put load on the car not the rollers of a dyno. hope this helps give some extra insight! | |

| Awesome, thanks for the info Eric. I'm in the process of moving all the parts to my house, so sometime this weekend I'll get pictures of everything laid out and I will shoot you an e-mail so we can maybe get the ball rolling on setting up a tune. | |

| Definitely don't be afraid to e-tune, it is pretty popular these days.
I have had my car tuned on both a Dynojet and a Mustang. I am now switching to e-tunes. Although my car ran great after dyno tunes, I really like the idea of my car being tuned in the conditions of which it will be run at.
tunermt is right, you can get accurate dyno results without even getting on one. As long as your weight, tire diameter, etc are spot on, Virtual Dyno is extremely accurate! | |

| I was waiting for a response like yours Mike, most people have just been telling me to go down and get it dyno tuned. You made the same point I've made about tuning the car in the conditions that it will be seeing on a daily basis, plus cost wise, e-tune is going to be looking like my best option. I could have ended up shelling out around $1500 for a tune. | |
