Bird's WRX vs. DEER...

Well as some of you already know, the Bird and I hit a deer 8 miles after leaving my house this morning heading to Red Lodge. I guess making opening day was not meant to be. Here are a few pictures of the car (have your tissues ready).

wow that sucks. it didnt set off any bags did it? a deer smoked me a few years ago im my yukon. caused $3800 in damages. And when i say he smoked me. I mean he ran right in the side of my yukon right behind my drivers door.

Yes Todd, I will be seeing you on Monday morning. I have Bird's car on the trailer and will be driving the truck to UPS.

The fact that you call Raven (sp?) the bird makes me laugh everytime I hear it! Sorry to hear about the car, with no report I assume everyone is ok? I tried to shoot as many deer as I could this year, unfortanetly I didn't get this one before you guys did!

I think I saw the splatter marks when I went out that way the other day. At least Raven's Cobalt rental could be worse...

Seems like BSCC is making good progress on the Bird's ride. Brian assured me that it would be done Friday or Monday. Pretty stoked.

Ummmmm. hate to be the bearer of bad news, but her parts won't even be in from Bozo until Tuesday.......

I cannot believe how long it is taking to get this done. I was told last Friday, then this Tuesday, and it is now Wednesday with no progress (have not even started it yet). WHAT THE HELL!!

Lets just say that I am not very impressed with BSCC right now. Makes me wonder if I made the right decision going there. I am almost positive I could have had this done if I had done it myself.

Dang pal. I was expecting to hear that this was done. I have a guy that I been going to for some time now. He has never done me wrong. Small repair shop w/ only a few employees. He charges more, but I know that with him, he is charging for quality. This is no offense towards ya Todd. You're a good dude. Besides... We all work for/with assholes!

Damn suckage. Why do body shops always take for flippin ever? I keep hearing stories of peoples cars that were in the shop for body work for over 6 months. That is totally unacceptable.

Well i had my car in the shop a couple weeks ago. They pretty much replaced the whole drivers side less then 7 days.

No offense taken guys. I just work here and personally I'm about as pissed off as Mike. This is the third one of my friends vehicles we've done this too and it pisses me off cause it not only makes the shop look bad, but ME personally!!

Big Sky is capable of doing AMAZING work, but it's just managed by a bunch of idiots it seems some days. I hate to say this because I'd usually love to try and bring business to my place of employment........ but if you want your vehicle done quickly, Big Sky Collision Center is NOT the right place to go!

I am just really upset as Bryan said last Friday. I was somewhat happy when he even said Tuesday. I am not very happy now that it is going to be next week even! The whole reason that I did not do it myself is that when I took it in there he said it would be less than a week. We are going on 2 now and the car has yet to be worked on. Pretty sure I would have had the car done by now. VERY UPSET ABOUT THIS WHOLE MESS.

I WILL 'NEVER' GO TO BSCC AGAIN (Which really sucks as I know Bryan very well).

And Todd, no big deal on your part. What has happened is not your fault and I am not holding you accountable whatsoever. Parts are there and that is your job. You did good.

I had the same problem when my car was in the shop. I had no body damage tho mine was all suspension but it was a good month before i got it back so i know exactly how you feel about this. hope you get it back soon and that she looks good when finished

no offense to todd but fuck big sky collision. ordered the wrong parts 3 fuckin times on me and when i got her back i kept finding shit that was bent of fucked up that they didnt even look at...........not to mention that whoever painted my car should find another job!
