I wish I was there to watch, I've seen a few contests over there but nothing over 20ft swells.

Holy crap.

i dont surf but i have seen the north shore of oahu and it seems like waves are always crazy huge. not always that big but still crazy.

Whenever we are there we always play in the waves at the same place the contest is held. Its crazy cause they are usually pretty flat 3-5 faces there. I can't imagine seeing a 50 footer come into the bay. I hope they come back next November when we're there again.

Nels you ready to surf them with me, I know you've never been nearly drowned by the ocean! Well maybe that one time in Kauai.
