wrecked Wrx 1/22/10 i think she totaled?

Well dustin (dirty) got into a wreck today. some lady T boned him. it was her fault. im pretty sure they will be totaling out his car. good thing hes ok. cars can be replaced.I know hes really bummed he had wanted a Wrx for awhile. he got one a few month ago and now its probley totaled. he wanted me to post pictures. so here its goes. this was one of the cleanest wrx iv seen for its year. it got both quarters pretty good. i spun around a got the front drivers side which push the front end over to the passenger side bumped popped out and hood is pushed over also.

Super shitty. That sucks. Was breanne with him? Glad he's ok though. That whore's insurance gonna take care of everything?

Wow man that really blows You could get a complete salvage rear end and replace it We do it all the time!

i got the pics from nate this afternoon and i couldnt believe it! dirtys car was super clean and its a bummer that happened. glad he is ok tho!

No she wasnt with him. it was on his way home from work.

Yeah but im sure he dosent want to have a car thats been hit that hard. it would be alot of work. hes hoping its totaled. cars that get hit like that always seam to have little noises and problems.

Damn that sucks. I was just wondering who's car that is because I saw it on my way to school the other day, it was super clean.

Wow another clean wrx . That's shitty. I can't even imagine what I would do if my car got totaled.

That sucks... hopefully the insurance battle turns out good in his favor!

If he parts it out, I may have to come checkout the seats and see if I could make them work in the 240... I am still in the search for black or dark colored seats that can replace my brown seats.

I hear ya man, I personally wouldn't get it fixed but some people do. Just throwing the option out there. Sometimes totaling out a car is the best thing you can do! It got Doug his wrx swap and mine got me a better Venge with a better drivetrain.

Thats sucks man. I'm sure he'll get something he likes if they total it.

I can tell you from experience that the car is going to be totalled. I am sure that there is more than 15000 in damage for sure. Subarus are unibodies and once the frame is toasted you have to pretty much replace the whole thing (if done correctly).

I have been very sad after getting this picture from Dustin. The baby was so clean and perfect. Hope things turn out well.

I also think a buyback from the insurance company is a MUST on this car. It has been so well maintained for the last 9 years it would almost be a shame to dispose of the motor, transmission, and interior.

yeah. He wants to see how much they want for it first. he might just part it out. if the buy back isn't to much. We will see. Ill keep you guys posted on his plans with the car.

If it is cheap enough I would be interested in buying it back, would love a project that is cheap I could close off my garage to all summer.

yeah but he dosent want to fight with the insurance. he really just wants the car paid off. he just bought it. so he still had most of the loan left. ill let him know you might want it. if the price is right.

I have seen parts cars like this go for 4k for motor, wiring harness, ecu, transmission and front crossmember (turbo Crossmember) on RS25.com for years and years. If he can buy it back, there are tons of options, I know them all since I swapped my RS. FYI!

In Sept 07 in San Antonio...

I totaled or F-UP a Ford F-250 with my 07 Civic (The one i drive currently).

Funny thing is mine still drove and the F-250's engine bay was smashed. I got rear ended around 45-50MPH while I was at a stop sign.

40 days to repair though and $12500 in costs.

note: Guy was gringo, fat overweight, smelly, came from strip bar, drunk, expired license, revoked license, no insurance, was not his vehicle. He lost 100% in Arbitruation. USAA kicked his ass.

I wanted to sue him big time but sucks when you by law have to wait for 2 years after private court decision....and the guy HAS nothing to sue lol.

Dustin- sorry to hear about the accicent at least you were not hurt. I am sad to see the outcome for the car, but s..t happens. I am not sure what you will end up doing with the car, but I know if you part it out you should do okay as it was in good condition and low miles.

Any news on the buyback?
