| I'm kinda lost with cars still. In the learning process. Anyone need an extra person to help you? Looking to learn as much as I can. | |

| Great plan, you can never learn as much reading as you will diving in. If I do anything I'll let you know. But my car is pretty much all finished up for a while. I learned so much when I rebuilt my first engine. Ended up making 400hp for 5 years with no problems. I only rebuilt it to add a few things to pick up some more power and Rev higher. | |

| Same here. I really hope I am not on the list for a rebuild this summer. If something is to happen I will let you know. | |

| This type of thing is what we called a "Mod Party" back in Oklahoma...lol. Maybe when my supercharger comes in I can post up and have some people out and install it and have some food and drinks. | |

| Now that I have a 300zx tranny I'm about the same 30 mins. But I still hate pulling it because tranny fluid is right up there with my least favorite fluids. | |

Ah, well that's not too bad. Most of that you can go off of your Haynes manual for. Dunno what an 07 Civic would be like. If the trans fluid is gonna be a bitch, might just take it in to a shop, as the cost of them doing it might be worth the not dumping gear oil on your face and driveway. Of course it is nice to learn how to do it yourself, but like I said, I don't know about such a new car. Brake pads are usually cake. Once the wheel's off, just pull the caliper pins or bolts and you're lookin at the pads. Might need a C-clamp, or go to Harbor Freight and get the disc brake tool set for a few bucks to push the piston back in. For tires, just find what you want, drive to the shop, and they'll do the work for ya. I think Expertire will still pricematch Tirerack.com, and they will check your alignment for free, but if it needs to be adjusted, it's like $60, which isn't bad. When I was there with my Talon, the only thing that was off was my toe-in, so I just went home and backed it out a touch myself. Oh, and if you get stuck, just holler. | |
