help please!!

i have a 2002 wrx and today i was driving and right when i turned on my a/c my ABS light came on, does anyone have any idea what can cause this??

That is strange. Is the ABS light still on? What happens if you pull the negative battery terminal for a minute or two? If it doesn't go away you'll probably have to get the ABS code scanned. I'm not totally sure but you might have to see the dealer on that.

ok thanks for moving it, well i turned off my car for about 10 minutes and started it back up and its off for now it was just really strange

If for any reason you are having trouble with your ABS and a scan tells you specifically what is wrong I have ABS parts.

sound like a voltage drop, that is the only thing them two have in common, my guess is it was a hot day, you car was under a load and when you kicked the ac on the voltage dropped below 11v and tripped the abs light. abs codes only turn off when there is no fault present.

so i say check you alternator with a load tester.

Never thought of a voltage drop, that would make more sense than my guess. Nice job Robert.
