| Started the P90x program on Easter and I love it. Really keeps you motivated to keep working out on a daily basis as there are 12 different DVDs. Hope to be a tank by Summer.
Kind of bummed out today though since I threw my back out again. Might not be able to kick ass today. | |

| I have heard that is an awesome program if you can stick with it. I looked into doing it about a month ago but just lost motivation before I even got started. I am going elk hunting for 8 days in the back country this September so I want to be in tip top shape. So, so far by eating healther and being more active I have already dropped 20lbs. I went from training everyday playing soccer to a lazy engineer and that didn't help. Hopefully I can get back into the excercise routine... now that I am 20lbs lighter. | |

| That sucks man. We Incorporate the P90X in all our workouts. One Marine has a back problem and he's done.. can't do any of the work outs... I'd give it plenty of rest. | |

| It just really sucks as I just started the program. About 5 years ago I really screwed my back up at UPS and it has been on and off ever since. Even since posting this morning it feels much better. Hopefully I will be able to at least do the ab ripper by tomorrow. | |

| I'm a week into P90X. My room mate just finished phase 1. It's an impressive program. | |

| So is P90x just a workout plan on DVD that you follow along with. I've heard great things about it but I don't really know what it's about. | |

| i've been doing the other team beach body workout "insanity" it's alot of cardio and endurance. But you don't need weights or any equipment except for your own body.
i lost 19lbs in the first month. i'm on my 2nd month and i've kind of fell off track. However i am getting back into it next week and i am doing only the 2nd month (the most intense workouts). I will continue the workouts for months to come and eventually i am gonna jump into p90x with a hybrid of insanity. but i need to adjust to my new job and time scheduling to really set a routine.
In my opinion if ya can't fork out the money for all the p90x equipment get insanity. i also believe it's good to get in healthy shape and toned before you start trying to build.
Be warned tho this shit is tuff! Made my days of hardcore sports endurance and cardio training in preseason seem like a cakewalk. |
