Details: Ditch the hood scoop, and go for a rear trunk lip instead of a wing... Lower about an inch. Side skirts and rear diffuser need to be toned down. Lose the chromies, but idk what to replace them with.
the front bumper looks weird too... like there should be a mouth somewhere in that vast space of plastic

it would be a good DD. im not feelin the scoop at all. but its a nice little toasted. i hread they move pretty good. i know a guy on another forum has one for a DD and he claims its pretty quick being stock.

I wonder how much money it would take to get it to 400hp?

not a ton of work to get there. those eco-techs are damn good engines. instead of ussing the supercharger like they have, i would go with a turbo set-up.

eco tech engines are horrible so are the transmissions that are mated to them. look at just a basic consumer reliability report... i looked a while ago cause cobalts were dipping down into such an affordable range and well... i don't own one for a reason.

However Gm supporting more boost and mods under 100k warranty was the only bad ass part.

i gotta agree with you guys the body kit on it is way to aggressive looking for the rest of the chassis and just doesn't aesthetically flow well the front bumper looks almost like they pulled it off one of the new Camaros and the wing is a bit much the chromes could have been better as black or another dark color, but the car looks nice and yeah some of those cars are fast but also if they become cheap enough and mean looking enough they will become what the DSMs became a cheap easy to afford car that every teen and their friend has and will run it to the ground....I couldn't dream of letting my DSM go to any fucking teen that has and urbanoid wannabe "gangsta" attitude cuz you know he'll think he's hot shit and destroy it the first chance he gets...make sme cry thinking about it

I dynoed an ss at my school. It was completely stock accept for a cold air intake and it put down 198 hp... but a naturally aspirated K20 from an rsx type S has 200 hp to the crank..Buut the type s is much more spendy than the ss i'm sure. couldn't agree with you guys more about the aero crap on that car.. it would look much cleaner without it, lowered, and some gunmetal rims .. (I hate chrome)
