| my alltime favorite car is the Corvette. I love it mostly because it is know as one of the most customizable cars you can ever own. I like how it is the only supercar in the world that combines HUGE power with good MPG. Buzz has 650 hp and still gets 28 mpg on the highway.. That is staggering. With a lambo or ferrari with that much power you get around 4 to the gallon. Whats the point of buying a $150,000 car that you can't customize very much and empties your wallet every time you rev the engine. So now I wanna know what's your favorite kind of car? | |

| I like so many differant cars it's impossible for me to choose just one. Practically every make has a model I love! Personally I've wanted my Venge since I was a youngin, my Grandpa's neighbor had a white one and I just loved the agressive look of the car! | |

| the great 1964 nova ss with a 283, powerpack heads, close ratio m-22 rockcrusher tranny, and the week little 8.2 inch 10 bolt packin 5:13 and a posi. factory tested it beat the corvette in 1964 in braking, handling, acceleration, 1/4 mile time and because i think so, it looked better too. my dad had one since 1966, and it's still in the family, and it still rocks it. but thats just my opinion | |

| My favorite car is THE Corvette too! I'm a vette freak...I consider it a supercar...it's the car that represents america when compared with other cars in the world...smokes everything in its price range...(you have to spend quite a bit more to beat it on the track and 1/4, we're talking stock cars here, not modded) has better stats than the ford gt (which is not made anymore) for $50,000 less...the viper acr is fast too but not street friendly like the zr1...you can race the zr1, or drive it on the interstate across country and get decent milage! I think its funny when car magazines diss the vettes interior...it's because there is nothing else to diss! This is my dream car!..............I do like other cars as well, another favorite being the 2002 trans am with the ws6 and ram air hood (red)...very nice car and has functional hood scoops...unlike other new cars...but like everyone else, this is my opinion!!! | |

| White 2001 Chevy silverado LS 5.3 with RCD long travel kit, drop spindles, King coilovers with remote resevoirs, 35in. BF goodrich tires, Black weld racing wheels with extended lug nuts, Interior still clean as hell to haul the B***s around. That's my dream truck!!! owned it for a few months but had to sell it due to California gas prices and having to drive 240 miles a day for school!! (san diego to rancho cucamonga, CA) google map that shit!. It was not a MPG friendly mobber! | |

As for me, if I was to build something... 55 Chevy, all modern twin turbo big block, tubbed, 4 link, pro-street style. Something like this but with a stock hood...

and yes you can call it a supercar. STOCK with the base model it will make 400hp from a pushrod v8. Even with all the power it has huge mpg. And for the interior, have you ever sat in a true supercar?? you can see the welds on the sheet medal in the interior. theres no carpet and everything is hard and made to be as light as possible. And for the power, ferraris are puttin around 375hp average, the corvette makes more than that stock. I mean just because its not as expensive or as nice doesn't make it not a supercar. in my world yes it is a supercar. and it can also be more customized so that makes it more personal to the owner

| it we talking dream cars I would have to build my own. Ultimate daily driven track car for me would be an LS1 swapped RX-7. If I wanted luxory and track capabilities I would look towards one of the new twin turbo porsches. But the ultimate car for me would be Smokey Nagata's twin turbo g35 (or as he calls it V35 gtr) that he built for top speed runs. Here is the video that made me love it so much! and it's sweet because he is an old ugly japanese dude. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qDV9v_yMQA4 | |

| One day I will own a 70 Cuda or 70 Challenger. I had a 70 Challenger in high school and sold it because I knew nothing about cars and it blew a head gasket. It was B5 blue with a white Vinyl top. In pretty darn good condition also. I kick myself everyday for getting rid of it. | |

IMO | |

| I have to agree with you Shawn. I'm can't say a Corvette would be a "Super Car". That' would be like saying a Shelby GT500 is a supercar. Definately not the case. I'm not sure I'd even say a Ford GT is a supercar. It would be hard for me to see any "American Made" auto as a "Super Car". The auto makers here are too cheap and car too much about mass production. | |

Now a Ford GT.... I'd give that the supercar nod. Vipre is harder to classify too, maybe rarity plays a roll in supercardom.

a ford gt imo would be closer to a super car than a vette or viper. i guess it really just depends on the model on car it is. as in ZR1,ARC and stuff like that.

| true a gt is closer to a supercar than a zr1 and a acr and the vette isnt a supercar because it is so mass produced like a c6 is pretty far from a supercar and its still the same base model as a zr1. and now that gallardos are becoming so common they are starting to lose their supercar status. | |

| Yeah now that I think about it. To be a super car it has to be rare and have a lot of passion behind. Like Ferrari. When you look at one you can just feel the passion that went into it | |

| My definition of supercar is performace. yes, the Vette interior sucks. However, it's highly customizeable. Other than the Harley, there isn't any other vehicle out there that has the aftermarket presence than the Vette. here are the top 10 STOCK cars at Nurburgring: And while I'm at it, here is MY dream car (well, at least one of many). The Callaway Supercharged Z06 - over 700 rwhp. I just wish the top came off. I also want a Gallardo but living in Billings, it's not going to happen. | |
