| I was in Missoula most of the day, and I don't think I've ever seen so many WRXs in one place, unless it was at a meet. Everywhere I went, there were WRXs. Bugeyes, Hawkeyes, 09s, and new. Waiting at a stoplight at the new Safeway and Broadway, three blue wrxs went by. Two sedans and a wagon. I don't think they even knew they were in the same line of traffic. One had an SPT sticker. On Broadway, later in the day, a new black STi passed me, no plate. A new silver WRX went by the other way. At the University, a modified-looking RS went by, followed by a ratty looking, silver 04 Wagon with black wheels. Waiting for the light on Brooks, a really clean, debadged, aftermarket grille, silver bugeye went by, followed by a red Hawkeye. Don't think I've ever seen that color of red on a WRX before. The silver bugeye got my vote for best looking Subie of the day (out of more than 20). Other notables: a white Hawkeye with black rims. Hard to make a white car look mean, but white or not this one had an evil look about it. A silver bugeye wagon with flared fenders, big tires, Washington plates, and a bicycle rack on the top with a nerdy-looking mountain bike on it. On the way out to Frenchtown, on the Interstate, a blue WRX wagon passed me going so fast I was too shocked to get the plate number. It might've been a veteran plate. No roof rack. Maybe black wheels. I was doing 75, and it was moving at least double my speed. Pucker factor of eleven on a scale of 10. Not STi fast. More like Viper fast.
Usually, when I go to Missoula, I'm lucky if I see even one WRX. And you just watch. If I take my WRX next time, instead of the truck, there will not be a WRX to be found in all of Missoula.

| Eh? More hippies in Missoula, than in Billings? Could be, could be. Probably more cowboys in Billings, than in Missoula, too. But guess which city has more Marines and former Marines? Especially more snipers and Force Recon?
It's not even close. River City, man. River City. Oo-rah!

It's not even close. River City, man. River City. Oo-rah! Well the veteran plate guess is correct. The guy is a Missoula/ or lake county local and is milding tuned. . . I remember the car when I installed the quarters and backglass after some bodywork last year. As for fast MT subaru's I believe Jeff's hawkeye takes the cake 500+awhp pump/ meth setup. Element Tuning car (GT65 ~28psi) with lots of forged goods

| I'd imagine the modded looking RS you saw may have been Seth's old car. Any chance you saw a black gc with a front mount? That's my old car/Seth's new car. Missoula's flooding with subies. They're the big thing at the high schools. Sentinel's parking lot has like 6 modded wrx's and sti's. It's ridiculous. I can't imagine how sweet it would've been to have my car in high school. | |

I will take the hippies over the gnarly meth heads that hang out in downtown Billings. And Smase remember this for the hippie factor The one and only Simon lives in Billings and he by far the biggest hippie I know and I live in Missoula. _____________SpRocK____________
