I am getting very excited!!!!

2 weeks

i played the demo for this the other day and it is VERY fun!!! cant wait for its release!!!

Wow, those graphics look stellar... I'm looking forward to playing this one...

I am going to pick this up at Wal-Mart in the morning on the way to work. Hope they have it out ready for purchase around 3:00am.

I'm gonna buy every copy when I get done working tonight at midnight, then return them all after you get home from work :p

I finally got the demo the other day and WOW!! I probably won't rush out this week and get it just yet, maybe in a week or two when my funds are back up. Lemme know how the drift and drag modes are as I'm super stoked about them!!!

Going to try and get this played here in the next couple days. Cannot pull away from Borderlands! Played for a couple hours yesterday and it seems very sweet. Looking forward to seeing the new tracks and cars. I am guessing it will take over 100hrs just like the last one.

I have a feeling I'll be over there this afternoon.

I already have a 900+ whp silvia, my car (1995 version), and a whole list of other cars... one word... BADASS! The drift mode is cool but Im still trying to figure out if the computer will race in drift mode... >.< the graphics are insane and the new tracks are nuts! Its pretty sweet!

Can't wait to get my hands on a copy! eek

Picked this up Tuesday. Played the shit out of 1 and 2. Got a few hours into 3 now, and it's pretty awesome.

I noticed that in the demo, I tried it out for a few laps but decided I hate it due to the fact that it's nearly impossible to brake and clutch at the same time.

lol, yeah you have to get used to it... it means you have to control your speeds more readily for cornering if you are going to D.S.

Hell's yeah on the steering wheel. I wouldn['t play forza without. Now NFS:shift on the other hand...shitty with the steering wheel.

I've got a steering wheel! But it's got paddle shifters so I no needs no stinkin clutch! LOL. But honestly I prefer to use the controller over the wheel. Just me.

I don't know. I like the controller on Shift, but Forza feels SOOO much smoother with the wheel. Like they were made for each other.......wait a second?

I may need to check this game out. I can't believe how many great games are out right now. I am still playing Bad Company and COD4 and COD5. I recently went back to plqying GTA4 and it is still badass.

Uh, yeah, talka bout good games out/coming out.

since I am not up to date on all the games.... will forza 3 or any of the forza's ever get released for ps3?

I had forza 1 a couple years ago with my xbox and then got generous one day and gave it away. I have missed forza ever since and the ps3 games just don't compare.

maybe I need to trade my ps3 in for an xbox 360 just so I can play forza.... wait a second I never get time to play anyways! I guess I will have to quite my job and become a gamer.

Nope. Forza is microsoft exclusive, Gran Turismo is Sony exclusive. If you are looking to unload a PS3 anytime soon I may be in the market to buy one soon.

If you get the itch for a PS3 hit me up. I would probably part with it.

we found a video on the storefront of some guy doing a gymkhana race on big testing ground track and its rediculous! im pretty sure it was just ken block playing the game!

Been playing Forza 3 non-stop. i am actually thinking about it while I am at work! Mark is right, we watched that Gymkahna video and that guy is way to good at car control in this game already. Everyone should check this game out and the video too!

the elites are 199

Hard drive? If you are talking about the box then false. Arcade-$199, Pro-$249, Elite-$299, Elite bundle(they have one for Modern Warfare 2)-$349(or$399 don't remember)

If anyone is interested (as I was) just youtube Forza 3 gymkhana. There is some pretty kick ass stuff on there.

It is true, elites have been $199 for weeks now. I thought about buying one just for the HD.

I won't believe this $199 elite until I see pictures. The Wii is $199 and the 360 Arcade is $199. There is NO WAY the price point for an elite is $199 right now. Unless it is a used system with no hard drive or controllers or anything, I do not believe this at all. Pics below for $299 confirmation.
(By the way, it was just a HUGE deal like, 2 months ago that the elite dropped from $399 to $299 for the holidays...)

I picked up Forza 3 on the launch day at Gamestop (You get a special limited car for pre-ordering) and got the Limited Collectors Edition. It's a crazy sick game. There are some real issues with the Performance Index numbers on some cars. Some cars just are not competitive no matter how you tune them. Oh well.

BTW just passed driver level 26.

Sounds like a plan. I'm pretty sure tomorrow works for me, I might have a few meetings after school but I'm sure it would be cool if you want to come over. The lambo is sleeping for the winter but we might be able to wake her up for a jog around the block.

Going to start playing this more since borderlands is done. I believe my driver level is only 17 or so.

Just about to level 30. The Lamborghini Reventon KILLS in R3 class on long tracks, as does the ZR1 upgraded to R3-800. I used the ZR1 on Le Mans (Old circuit) and topped out at around 220mph, and that was because I forgot to change my 6th gear ratio... would have easily hit 250.

Just getting ready to hit level 25 and it just keeps getting better and better. They did a fantastic job on this game. Very impressed.
