Just been doing some more reasearch and found out if you buy a 5 GAL pail ($230) and fill your tank with 15 GAL, that would equate to 40oz of Torco costing about $14.38 and that would come out to a full tank of 102 octane. Should have been using this addative for years now. My mixture with methanol right now including my 2 GAL of 110 is not even close to that. 2 GAL of race gas is $15 EVEN. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEED!!

Quote :
"Accelerator is UNLEADED, so it won’t harm sensitive O2 sensors or catalytic converters"

Thanks for looking into this Jason.

No worries... doing more research will help get this idea out there more. Like Jason has mentioned we will probably be having the first discussions with Torco towards the end of the month. After that discussion we will have a better idea where this relationship is going. It seems to have a lot of promise and hopefully we can become more involved and help get the Torco products into more of the import scene.

I really wish I could have had a 5GAL of this for the present season. I wasted sooooo much money on race fuel and I was running a much lower octane!! $230 for the 5GAL would get me through an entire year, as that comes out to 16 full tanks and 102 octane! Yay for TORCO!

The meeting is setup for October 20th so we should know a lot more then. Unfortunately I have a meeting in Denver that day so I will get the info second hand. They are really excited to get this into the drag drift road race market so they are excited to have the meeting. I'll let everyone know as we know more.

Me and B1R just got off the phone with Torco and it sounds very exciting. She sent us the pricing for Race gas and is going to get us the pricing on the additive today. We should be able to get a deal for everyone on either. The pricing on Race gas is very exciting and if anyone wants a 5 gallon or 55 gallon drum we can get it for much cheaper than you can buy it locally. I know I was paying somewhere around $8.25 a gallon and we hope to be able to sell it for around $7.00-$7.50 a gallon depending on what octane. Hopefully we will get pricing soon for the additive and it can be drop shipped directly to you when we place an order.

The meeting went good and I believe we have the go ahead to begin selling the additive as well as any of the Race gas products. We also have the diesel additive that helps keep water out of the fuel and avoid gelling during the cold months. Any of you with a diesel or generators you use in the winter let me know and I will give you the best price possible. We're not looking to get rich with this just help others in the automotive world.

MIke I will soon. We need to confirm our pricing before I post the prices. We have the price list so as soon as I have the final go ahead I will get them posted. Anyone interested in some race gas or the Race gas concentrate feel free to PM me. This would also be great for High performance sleds.

PostSubject: Re: Torco Fuel Additive [PRICES ADDED!!]   October 29th 2009, 9:52 am

I'll post a few prices on some of the smaller things. If anyone has any interest in a 55 gallon drum let me know and I can quote you for that. These prices do not include shipping as of right now but before next summer we will probably have some in stock, the price may change a little when we stock it to cover our shipping but we will buy in bulk to cut that cost down.

Torco UL Accelerator
32 Oz single $20.95
Case of 6 $125.70
5 Gal. Pail $227.00

Torco Diesel Accelerator
32 Oz single $20.95
Case of 6 $125.70
5 Gal. Pail $227.00

Torco Street 100 (unleaded)
5 Gal. pail $51.70
55 Gal. Drum $414.15

Torco 108 (unleaded)
5 Gal. Pail $73.70
55 Gal. Drum $637.45

Torco 110 (leaded)
5 Gal. pail $57.20
55 Gal. Drum $436.15

Torco 118 (Leaded)
5 Gal. pail $74.10
55 Gal.Drum $660.50

If anyone with a race team or mutliple track cars bulk pricing we can offer bulk pricing. If anyone is going to place a larger order we will give them a discount. AS you can see the Accelerator is the best bargain when mixed with regular 91 octane, and also is unleaded. Perfect for road trips and to get rid of the hassles of Meth injection or mixing race gas and pump gas. No need to spend $50+ dollars a tank for half race gas like I and many others were doing last year.

The business is still developing so how everything shakes out in the end is not determined (we are debating whether we want to have a retail presence or whether we should let other established businesses handle the retail portion and we just handle the warehousing and bulk orders.)

Regardless, as Pioneer Oil, LLC we have the rights to order products directly from the factory and dispense to end customers. So no, we do not have any products on hand currently, but we are looking to put in an order for our own personal use here in the next couple of weeks and we would be more than happy to bundle any orders in with ours so that you can save on shipping. In our first order we will be getting some of the diesel additive as well as the race gas accelerator so we will have a limited quantity on our shelf that we could sell direct.

If you have any questions or want any more info, please feel free to contact me or Jason (screenname: TS4l)

If you want to see what people think too check out the Suby forums or Evo forums. AMS has used it with great success. I think its a good idea to check it out and see how you car handle it. I will be doing the same when I get my car ready to hit up the dyno again. I want to do back to back testing between that and the 108 unleaded which has a MON rating of 102 so about the same as you will get with this. Should be much cheaper and more reliable then mixing 110 and pump gas.

I'm meeting with the Owner of the company tonight down here in Vegas.

here is some good info about the accelerator on Evom... I beleive you will be able to look at the thread without an account but I could be wrong.

http://forums.evolutionm.net/evo-engine-turbo-drivetrain/323101-torco-accelerator-fuel-answer-unleaded-race-gas.html

Sounds like people in the mustang and corvette world are really having great success. 91 pump gas + 32oz torco accelerator = 700+whp madness.

More reading on Evom shows that Cobb via it's premier tuning company Surgeline Tuning (located in Oregon) are also distributors for Torco... which means great news for all you Subie and Evo fans. You can get great tuning advice from Cobb and they have first hand expereince with the products.

Luke,

We have not placed the order yet. I am not sure if you saw I posted on MAEC-bay to see if anyone else wanted to jump in on the order and get free shipping so I am waiting to place the order until then (Nov. 20th). I apologize for not keeping you in the loop. I will send you a PM when we place the order and let you know when you can come pick it up. I will discuss with Jason and see if we should just place the order now since no one else has come forward so that we don't hold you up. I will keep you posted.

Thanks,
Jake

I just ordered a 6 pack of that and a 6 pack of the diesel accelerator. It will ship out tomorrow so Luke I will let you know when it gets here. We will keep a 6 pack on hand and if it sells quickly we will order more and look at getting 5 gallon pails. Sorry we didn't get it faster we had planned on buying more but hate to have the first order sit around all winter.

If anyone wants any of the Torco products or even the lubricants let us know. After the meeting we have decided to keep some on hand and sell it on-line but we don't make much so we probably won't go too crazy with it now. If anyone local has shops or businesses that want to retail any Torco products let us know and we can hook you up with Jobber pricing so you can sell it at retail price and make some money. Would be great also for snow machines and motorcycles. We already have a shop interested in selling if for motorcycles as they run it in all their bikes.

Very nice. I did get an email notification of a PM, however when I look in my mailbox I have nothing from you. Could you possibly send it again?

I need to figure out how to fix that problem. That is the same way it was on the BSS site and it drove me nuts. I will try and get that fixed.

I did get 2 cans of the UL Accelerator but haven't had a chance to use any yet. Now it's really cold and I might have to wait a while. So sorry I haven't been able to post up my impressions yet.

Thats ok I am shipping some with a 55 gallon drum to a guy in Norway that is sponsored by JUN auto and also races in a snow rally cross. He is going to dyno it hopefully as soon as he gets it and let me know, he's comparing that to the unleaded 108. Good thing we don't live there as his regular pump gas is $9.00 a gallon.

Did you ever end up ordering some of the 5gal pails? I will need some before I make the trip to Denver. I guess a single dose would work for now.

We have a few cans of the single 32oz's. We can get a 5 gallon in a few days if you want one just let me know. We planned on waiting till it warms up to keep much on hand, especially since Luke is the only one that has bought any so far. I was going to run some but since its too cold and snowy I figured its a waste right now since my car will probably sit for a while.

Yeah, I will need at least one single before the week of March 18th. I guess it is not a huge deal right now, but I would like to get my hands on a 5 GAL. I will let you know.
