I hear it was pretty knarly storm on the south end. My corporate manager said Billings needed some asisstance for the next few days, as there was an overload of work due to the damaging storm. Yet, I am not going to make it due to being stuck in the middle of moving

I had to leave the driveway momentarily and then I was right back under our awning, so hopefully I didn't get pegged too bad.

I live right next to the damn sirens. Gawd I hate that noise. When was the last time a tornado touched down in Billings?

I cannot believe how crazy this storm was! Here in Shepherd we got about 35mph winds with tons of rain, but no hail and no tornado?!
We lucked out big time as it was heading this direction. I had a buddy that was about 2 blocks away from the Metra when it got it. Said the hail was pretty big and rain was insane!

Hood is gone and the roof is pretty bad. Maybe only a half dozen other hits on the doors and hatch. If I wasn't visiting my parents in the heights for Father's Day I would've been fine! If I didn't love my dad so much I might hold it against him. JK....
I talked to a buddy who was in Target when it happened. He said he was walking out, and had to RUN back into the store. I wouldn't normally think of a shopping cart as a deadly weapon. Man, I'd hate to go out like that.
We'll talk to insurance tomorrow I guess....

Steel is the way to go. most cars are made of plastic or tin foil nowadays.

Their 78 Grand Marquis looks unfazed. It was parked right next to the TransForester.
+1 for lead sleds.

My car got demolished. I can't take it to the insurance agents tomorrow but I'm guessing it's totaled. I had it hugged up as close as I could to my house but it still got rocked. My windshield is toast.

A couple videos, towing my camper home, it got the roof beat, skylights broke out water everywhere, my yukon looks like someone pounded it with a sledgehammer, so who is the most expensive shop in town when it comes to estimates? LOL time to work the insurance, thank god for full coverage.

Damn some crazy events tonight. I was out in Laurel at the time.. lucky me. There was barely any rain out there. Funny thing, if you look at Dustin's STi there, the plastic parts look like they came out ok, (hoodscoop, front bumper) but the metal is what dented..
Sorry to hear about peeps cars getting damaged. I would be pretty bummed.

Was the hail before or after the tornado? I literally missed the tornado by like 5 minutes. I heard the sirens go off just shortly after I passed the Metra.
For a tornado as small as this one was, to cause this much damage, just goes to show how cheaply stuff if built up here. In some of the pictures I've seen it looks like the roofs were lifted off and the walls just fell in. That's just garbage if you ask me. Over priced shacks litter this town.

I live on the 14th block of Ave. C. We had mainly pea and marble sized hail. Guess we lucked out. The mustang and my wife's new car were in the garage and my old civic didn't seem to take any damage.

Kinda weird how people in Billings just keep on driving and even slow down to watch the thing. Just shows how nonshalant this town can be sometimes.
