| OK on my 03 wrx i have low to no boost actually acording to franks computer its 3.5 lbs. So we all was thinking it was the up pipe since it was. i changed that and its still has the same problem. the only thing i could find is there is a ole in the induction pipe right before the turbo inlet so i have no clue if thats my problem or if its anything else so input would be helpfull thanks. on a side note i will be replacing the induction pipe so if there is anything else you can think shoot me some ideas. | |

| The are so many things that could be causing low boost, so I would recommend making sure all your vacuum lines are good and zip tied. After that check for an exhaust leak and if that still does nothing work to the turbo inlet pipe that is located under the intercooler. Those stock pipes are known to crack.
Could be the turbo also. There are so many things it could be you pretty much just need to check everything.

| Could also check the y pipe underneath the intercooler. I've seen those cracked and/or broken more than once. Also check the small piping between the intercooler and the throttle body. Make sure your ByPass/Blowoff valve isn't leaking.

| I still say we could rig up something to see if it's that inlet pipe to the turbo. We can only make it better lol. | |

| Grab a PVC cap that matches your intercooler, drill a hole, throw a Valve stem in there and hook it to an air compressor and see if you have any boost/vacuum leaks. I have a few already made depending on what size intercooler piping you have. If its not a leak then its gotta be either the wastegate is stuck open, or a leak before the turbo. You can also use the air compressor and apply air to the wastegate line and verify it moves back and forth. Is the car poping or misfiring? | |

i was talking with frank today about this actually and i have the stock piping on the car so its all the sizes of the 2.0l the car isnt missfiring or poping and there is a crack right before the inlet on the turbo so thats the next fix on my list

| +1 to TS41. It's probably a vacuum leak/air leak of some sort. Isolate portions of the system and blow air into each portion and listen for leaks. It would help to go back to stock everything, if that's possible. Check to see that someone hasn't hooked up the boost controller backwards (happened on mine, but it was an aftermarket controller that was easy to reverse the tubing). Wastegate is a long shot, but maybe. | |
