| This will track the top ETs of the street vehicles in the area. This is an unofficial list, but the information should be credible, so please provide proof for additions / modifications. If you have or know of a car that should be included or needs to be updated, please post here with time slip information and the vehicle will be added or updated. If I am not reachable, one of the moderators can likely add or modify the list. To be considered, the vehicle has to be street legal (licensed, insured, all working D.O.T. required items) AND actually driven on the street. | Now that we have a list started, get me information on others in the area. I need at least ET / MPH, but would love to have full timeslip information. Also, please check your entries above for accuracy and provide input on updates if needed.
Most of the information above was gleaned from posts on this forum, sorry if I missed anyone.

| I will be in the middle of the pack so I might as well add my info! My old Evo IX with an intake/exhaust and running 21lbs of boost. Only hit the strip once with it, so who knows what it could have done if I knew how to drag race.
The numbers: R/T .108 60' 1.986 330 5.581 1/8 8.624 MPH 83.92 1000 11.288 1/4 13.488 MPH 102.39

Gah, Jim Smim, lol. Nah, I just need to get his info again. I couldn't remember well enough what it ran to put it up. Do you recall the exact ET/MPH of his best run? I seem to remember 11.2@123 or some such.

| Hey guys not to burst anyones bubble but I think if the car can't go out and run whats posted for times tomorow, than it shouldn't be on the list! It's only fair. Unless this is an all time list. And if we do that we might as well put Seths chevelle on there 10.31@129 even though he doesn't own it anymore. Our 68 fastback runs 11.95, can't remember MPH. | |

No bubbles burst here. I'd have to remove everyone from the list though, not sure any of us could run these times tomorrow (kinda cold and probably a bit snowy out at Acton). Probably what would be fair is for the list to be thoroughly updated at the end of the season to reflect cars that are no longer in action (I've been including about anything to get things started), sold, retired, etc. As far as I'm concerned, if the car is still owned by whomever, and they have an Acton timeslip or video, then I'm not going to question it at this point (generally we get faster not slower anyway). Probably quite a few cars on this list that these are "best" times for, evening air, in the fall, tailwind, etc. Unless someone really wants to update this for a "best" week to week or day to day, perhaps hour to hour since the air changes as much as it does..., well... that won't be me, lol. Where do you draw the line? As far as Seth's Chevelle, have a slip or video and we'll get it added. I'm expecting the list to be updated with everyone's splits and we'll drop off those that can't provide splits. If we wanted to really get to it, then we can eventually require "proof" to be on the list in the form of a scanned slip or splits with a video. For now, I put most of the traps that I found on this site and will give everyone some time to help me fill in the blanks, just like quite a few did here. Thanks for your input Brett.

You are on the top spot, now get some new numbers this year so we can finally have a 9 second car on that list!! Also, if you get the chance, post the splits for your best time so far so I can get a full listing on the "old" setup.

Yeah, I do, and I hear ya. Just not sure where to draw the line. We'll just let it evolve from here. Maybe in the future I'll make a second list with "official" times that are only backed by timeslips / videos and current within the past 12 months. For now, this is meant to be a fun list, see what fast cars are in the region and give people an idea of where they stand in relation to what else is out there. As an added bonus, maybe this will get some people in the spirit for the upcoming season and motivate some of us to get our junk running again.

Sure, hit me up with the splits and let me know what track it is run at (I'll put the track in the notes for reference). Also, get over to Billings and run with us a time or two . Not nearly enough street / strip cars around.

| Probably not. I'm throwing all my money on my wife's car loan and also trying to pay off my supercharger this summer. I don't have the money to buy drag radials not to mention pay for repairs if I blow it up out there. So probably gonna wait until next year - but I should be in good shape then. It also needs some minor work done before it's ready to be launched hard. Suspension, get the brackets welded out back, etc.. | |

Was working up on my shift points. The run previous was 2mph slower in the 1/8 but 2mph faster in the 1/4. Should have been 122 and a high 10.

| I have a 1989 GMC 1/2 ton with a 383 that I did one decent run with. It stalled for a sec when I floored it, but here is what it did anyway. I cracked the case on my 700R4 shortly after this so haven't been able to improve it, but it should be in the 13s. You can tell just by the mph. | |

What the hell is that? I did 0-60 in my 03 cobra years ago in 3.9 seconds. That is what my G-TECH said. That was going up hill too.. Scan your time slip from the drag strip for that run and post it. Anything else I don't believe you..

| Gtech isn't accurate at all. This thing is very close. I know someone that has taken his to the track and seen no more then .5 sec differance if that. When you start moving this program shows a speedo, and I watched it and mine and they where in sync the whole time. Sorry you wasted all that money on a crap tech that doesn't work. I spent only a few dollars on somehting that does work. I was going to take the truck to a 1/8 mile this summer but the convertor bolts came loose and one shot out and pinched inbetween the case and convertor and cracked the case all the way around. | |

Looks like it should make some good power. I am going to hold off adding it to the list for now though, let's wait a couple months and get an actual timeslip on it! There are just too many variables to account for outside of an actual 1/4 mile track. On performance meters, I think they can be pretty accurate and have their place, the key is to find a flat piece of land to work off of. I've tested g-techs (the newer ones, RR I think it was) to good repeatable results and I own a Racelogic Performancebox that is GPS based with 10hz resolution. It is very accurate (Racelogic is what many major magazines use for their testing, usually their higher end 100hz models). I could however get inaccurate results or manipulate the results depending on the road, thus I don't quote numbers from it other than for apples to apples comparisons (same stretch of road primarily). It is quite nice for Lewistown though and a great tuning aid as it is dead nuts repeatable. Anyway, I look forward to seeing your truck out at Acton!!

| No problem. I will not be racing it though as I am gonna fix the tranny and sell it for money to fund my other race truck. Its a whole lot lighter, and should be in the 12s. I do hope to make it to lewistown for one race. Should have a real time slip this summer. | |
