Got my MAPerformance Rev3 ported intake manifold back! They cut it open, port the plenum and every runner, then put it on a flow bench to assure even flow. They also welded on a 70MM flange for use with my TB, and then ceramic coated it all.
I also plugged the EGR port on the head, capped EGR port on manifold, and tapped for my AEM boost sender.
I ended up having fitment issues with my aftermarket UICP. So I have decided to redo it all and go with a speed density conversion on the stock ECU!

True that!
Where do you get your E? Seeing as I will have to store either E or race fuel in barrels, I decided to go with Sunoco Supreme race fuel. It may be a while before I actually get some, and get another map tuned for it.

I actually use E98 and get it by the 55 gallon drum Just in case you want to drink the same juice as your car haha. Of course the downside to E is it doesn't last to long so you need to make sure your moving through it. When the time comes and your looking to make moves I would be more than happy to help set you up with fuel and a map/tune. Do you have a tactrics cable available to download and up load .bin files to your ECU?
Good to see more EVO's in MT

The shelf life you mentioned is one of the reasons I would like to do race fuel! Not to memtion I can keep my small ass 850cc's/DW300 which only run 65% IDC as-is.
I would take you up on that offer seeing as I do actually have a Tactrix cable and Evoscan software, but I'm already hooked up with TSCOMPUSA. Just waiting for about 9 things to show up in the mail for my speed density conversion. Word on the intranetz is that he is a SD/Stock ECU guru. One of the best EVO sepcific tuners out there. We shall see.

i'm sure you will not be disappointed with his work enjoy the new found boost and power! beware gasoline/race gas does not have the longest shelf life either, much better than E though!

Haha, there are probably 15 different EVO mounts for that PC680. It's AGM and rated for 680/5 seconds. The reserve capacity sucks, though.
The dump sounds stupid on film. It doesn't really make a sound, just noise. lol. It's a riot to hear in person, though.
I know someone who has a craptastic video on their Droid. I will try and find it.

I used to love watching people jump and give me the stink eye when I had mine!! It was fun but I just hated the sound of the thing. The tube was poorly made so it didn't sound as "nice" as yours lol. More like it had something caught in its throat and was hacking it up

Zach, It'll definitely be a kick in the pants!
Todd, was yours aimed at the ground? My friends Evo X has a dump aimed at the pavement and the resonance from that gives it a completely different sound. Lol @ "nice" being the descriptive word.

A friend from Minnesota hauls a 2 place snowmobile trailer during the winter. They are short track sleds, though. haha!
I have been through Billings so many times already, but not in the Evo yet. I am going to have to see when you guys have a decent sized meet and or cruise some weekend, and I'll head up. I'd love to come to Lewistown, but I'll be in Minnesota during that event.
My tune is coming along, cold driveability blows, but it's getting better. Working with driveability on the Stock ECU / Speed Density now. WOT is close to optimized.

I would kill to go to Ltown. My parents in MN took vacation during the 18th so I can't bail out on going to see them. The way I pieced my car together was for events like that, I just should have chose a different set of springs. The Swift Sports ride great, but the Spec-R's would handle better. Or I could just man up and ket KWV3's
Is the IX Graphite Grey also? I think I had an encounter with him a couple years ago on I90 around the 4th of July when I had a couple bolt-ons.

That IX has been around a few years so its a good chance., I have Ohlins single adjustable flags but the pillows are blown and I'm trying to source new ones for August. But they were AMAZING before that. I was on stock IX shocks, not even Bilsteins last event and it was fun but frustrating that the limit was due alot to body roll. See "Gopro evo in car" on YT for some footy!

I went to Sheridan yesterday and met up with 3 other Evo's and shot the shit for quite some time.
I did a bunch of drive-bys with my GF recording, and this was the best one (which still isn't great, haha!)

The turbo needs a rebuild now... the compressor contacts the housing.
My BOV contacted the filter under hightorque and punched a hole in it, and the pieces took out the journal bearing.

FP is great for the DSM stuff, but their JB Evo stuff gets mixed reviews. Having to run their installation kit with special oil on JB's is a pain, and even their BB they require plumbing oil feed to filter housing and running a restrictor.
The CBRD stuff has been more reliable, and requires no modifications for oil supply, and I can easily get mine rebuilt with a turnaround time that is about 4 times quicker.
As for going bigger, I really don't want my car to be a drag queen, as beating C6 Z06's is doable on my current small turbo, haha!
I will probably be converting it to BB, and jumping up to about 56mm / 61lb flow rate:
