Budget Foxbody turbo build

Here are some pics of the Fox with the turbo kit installed. Total price so far including fuel ayatem is $2700. Looking forward to getting it to the dyno and track.

What type of fuel delivery? Planned psi on the 302?
I'd love to see this in Acton.

Well, she is pretty much done. I took her out last night for some shake down fun! I'm really impressed so far, she runs hard.

Yeah it runs strong! Pulls hard, definately had fun!

Nope, but I did race a very respectable street car. I would love to race some subaru's though.

I do have a vid of it It might make 400rwhp and 500rwtq. We will find out on the dyno next month.

What turbo is that?

It's some crappy chinese 70mm. I don't plan to run it much longer, its just to show how inexpensive it is as a base kit. I will be adding a better turbo, BOV and wastegate in the next few months.

Is it keeping traction better without the 4.10s? lol

you know just to had my 2 cents but most the time the only thing wrong with those Chinese turbos are that the waiste gate port is just to small atleast that is the case with chinese 16g's and can be solved with a little porting... idk but something to think about

It has an external wastegate....

I think this little turbo kit was well worth the cash. Very pleased with the dyno numbers.

heck yeah nice number,wasnt it something like 175hp and 210 ftlbs or something like that i could be off by a few numbers

I will have to look at the dyno sheet when I get it but it was 437hp and 535tq. SAE corrected. That was a good one shawn! Ha!

A little update! Put the C4 in and she ran 11.1@121. I have to pull the converter out cause it is way to loose. Car will run 10's next time out. There is a grand total of $7500 in this car right now, not bad for a budget build. I have to get a cage, they kicked me out right before the final. So hopefully I can get someone to do it before the end of the year.
