please disregard my last post guys. i was told in the morning the up to date is ken gillis out of wyoming has leased the track . hte said a shcedule will be posted in the next couple weeks , and racin should start middle to late may .

this all comes from the state drag racin association banquet , was announced during. so . woot for everyone !!

Looks like our Lewistown Track Days are all we have to look forward to. At least we have something.

Maybe we should have a Lewistown Drag day also?

As well as a Metra Parking Lot Drift Day.

Renting the drag strip would be almost impossible price wise, if they would even consider it, and the Metra no longer allows any sort of racing in their parking lots.

just got off the phone with ken gillis, he assured me that he does have a lease.A new website should be up late next week.The track name has been changed for legal reasons and now will be called rocky mountain dragway llc.The first race will be may 1 & 2.

hope ur right . but after all the bs i will just wait and see .

Well, if it opens or not, I just dont have much faith in gillis keeping it going. But as of now its opening I guess. But like everyone says, we will know when we see a scheduel. Did it get a new website or something, or is yds.com just gone now?

its gone due to legal issues . gee wonder what that means .

Im not tinkering on any of my own stuff, just fixing cars on the weekend to make a little extra money. I have done absoultely nothing to my car since last year. I have not even fixed all the problems with it. Just been selling all my stuff because im broke.

Wouldnt it be awesome if the track opened and we all put MAEC as a sponsor on our signup sheets. The announcer would have no idea what is going on!! IT WOULD BE AMAZING!
