| well, the th400 isn't turbo 400ing the way it's supposed to, so i guess it's back to the powerslide until i can up on what the hell is wrong with mine now... i guess it's something to do with the direct drum seals, and maybe the reverse band or the valvebody... this is why i like powerglides, only like one real moving part in them suckers. i hate my transmissions, and im about 3 seconds from just stabbing a manual in it, but then i'll be swappin driveshafts, clutches, pressure plates, and prolly rearends too. | |

| pst.... only pussies have a tranny. You don'y need no freakin tranny.
Bolt a flywheel on the back of you're engine with a clutch and run that right to your rear diff. Dirrect drive baby.... no missin gears cause you can't shift.... no shift flairs,no slipping. It's a win win!
crank the boot to 32bar and hold on! lol
the TH400 will be real nice if you can get you're guy to build it to work how you want. Turbo350 next choice. powerglide.... the natural default.... and dirrect drive for the real manly beast of a car. lol | |

| direct drive might be alittle too sluggish outta the hole, th350's are garbage just in general i must have broke about 20 of them, and the powerglide works really well, as long as i can keep the fluid clean and not chew up another front pump. i figure when i get it out, i'll drop it on his door step and say fix it, or i aint paying you the remainder of what i owe you... pretty simple. the big issue is everytime i pull the slushbox, i have to buy another case of 40.00 dollar transfluid. is getting alittle expensive... | |
