This is how to replace your powersteering pump.
Tools needed, Ratchet, 6 point sockets they dont strip bolts like a 12 point will. Sockets used, 12mm and 10mm, Ratcheting wrench, and screwdrivers. (extensions help alot too!
)
FIRST STEP: Remember whenever you are doing work on your car, DISCONNECT the battery!
Disconnect your alternator wiring harness.
Remove the alternator bolts.
This is where taking pictures gets difficult, There is a hidden bolt holding this wiring harness for powersteering, knock sensor etc. on. Remove this 12mm bolt.
Remove this front bolt (12mm) (I had to use a cheater bar)
This bolt is extremely difficult to take a picture of. Remove the bolt underneath power steering pump, I used a 12mm ratcheting wrench.
This is where that bolt is located.
Remove this last bolt (3 total) holding the pump on.
This is where powersteering fluid likes to sit...
This is the pump and alternator removed.
Then just put the new pump back in.
Now go change that powersteering pump!
