Not getting fuel?...

So yesterday day I went to start my car and It was just cranking but not starting. I let off and tried again... Nothing. I gave it some gas the third time and it barely started as i was on the gas... Did the same thing later when i was testing the to see if it would do it again.

I changed me fuel filter about a little over month ago its done it before but not that bad... It has on occasion started and then died right after. Not very often tho.

Also I did just fill up the day before too. Bad gas?...

Remove the line on either side of the fuel filter and cycle the key. If you are getting gas it will spray out obviously. If you are not getting gas I suppose a fuel pump is in your future. If you are getting gas then it is something post filter.

I have had a pump go out before and it kind of sounds like you are in that same boat. It will work on occasions, but never did it not start at all.

check your relay, and or the reset switch if you have one to the pump. try to jumper the relay if you want to quick fix it for a minute, just dont keep it like that for long. cause the pump stays on... could be the pump otherwise. my buddys explorer had the same problem and it turned out to be the relay the first time. a week later.. it was the pump haha.
