The buisness man build

I have only onwed the car for a few weeks now, but already the mods have started. My goal with the car is to keep it clean and comfortable for daily use, but add some performance and handling to it. I will occasionally use this car to take customers to meetings so all mods have to pass the "buisness man" test (i.e. will someone complain and say I drive a race car to work). The car has a few dings and scratches right now, but hopefully over time everything will be brought back to original condition and stay that way for a long time!

So here we go...

I just got my new tokico blues and eibach pro springs installed. The car might settle just a little bit more in the next few days but I am happy with it now. I opted to go with 350z suspension so that I got .5" more drop and more aggressive spring rates. I have also swapped over to the forged 350z wheels off of Jason's car. I have never owned progressive springs before, but I have to say I am very happy with them. Daily driving they are smooth and nice, but they hold the car nice and flat in the corners. I am anxious to try them out on an SCCA course to see really how they handle. The next mod planned for the car is some spacers to help the wheels fill up the wheel wells a little better and not look so sunken.

The Business man needs to invest in some spacers!!!!!!

i dunno, those black rims looked pretty shnazzy.. i do like the car either way tho, it is super clean and "business man" approved, that is if your clients drive those cars just like that, which who doesnt these days. haha looks good.

After having the car sit all winter I am now kicking around the idea of selling it. Just wanted to see if anyone local would have any interest? Not dieing to sell the car, just curious about some other ideas. I would let her go for $13K, let me know if anyone is serious.

Just the G35, if I am correct they did not make the G35X until a year or two later. I could be wrong but I know for sure its RWD and a fun car.

Yes this is just a g35, which is rwd. The AWD coupes were only recently released. The AWD g35x sedan has been around since about 2004 I think.

Gotcha. In any case, you've got some RWD Nissan fun in a classy luxury car. Those 3.5L's had respectable balls for a stock engine. What kind of performance upgrades did you have in mind?

new belts and new battery just this winter. Previous owner installed an Exedy clutch (fairly recently) but not sure on exact mileage.

Purchased the car out of Nevada so it has never seen snow. Just did an oil change an the under carriage and engine bay are spotless (relative to Montana winter driven cars).

some minor door dings and a blemish in the rear bumper, otherwise very straight and clean.

Welll the ride is sold. Probably the quickest and easiest transaction I have ever done. Take good care of her Dustin and if I do see you put aftermarket tailights I will come break them out!

no problem. ill make sure he doesn't add any rice stuff to it. i think for the most part hes going to just fix the very few minor blemishe's on it and leave it stock and just enjoy it.
