Got the wife a new ride. the Subaru was dieing.

I generally don't buy "new" vehicles as a general rule. However, she just found out she's got diabetes and was feeling blue so I sprung for it. You only live once. Can't take the money with you.

Riding in the passenger seat, I can only tell you I've never been in such a quiet, solid auto.

I'll post up some pics as soon as it's nice and I get her cleaned up.

nice ride. sorry to hear she has diabetes. hope everything goes well. i know its just a pain dealing with it. my grandmother has had diabetes ever sense i can remember at least 15 years.

thanks brother. It's a tough deal. You turn 40 and everything goes to hell. We're going blind, our backs hurt all the time, and now this.

FYI: Get your blood checked on a regular basis. I have blood tests every 6 months just because I can. You young guys should get checked at least every other year.

heck after 40 has nothing to do with it. im only 25 and some days i feel your same pains. somedays i feel older than that. its kinda sad. but im sure it only gets worse as you go.

True. it's kind of a "good news bad news" deal. Financially, you're better off but every year, you have to worry about your health. I used to run on the treadmill, now I walk. i used to eat antything I wanted now I have to be careful. To be truthfull, I'd rather be poor and young. To do it over again, I'd worry less about money in my 20's and just enjoy life a lot more.

Love the Benz, I did peek in a few over the last couple months and was completely impressed, I can't imagine how much cooler they are with a key, had to help brighten the day!
