How much have you spent on your ride?

Well as the title says. Just wondering how much poeple have dumped into there rides. I know it will make some people sick and other know where all there money went. I will start it off.

Well just off the top of my head heres what i have into it. WAY TOO MUCH Id say its close to 55k to 60k thats with the purchase of the truck. here in the next year or 2 i plan on dropping around another 10k to 15k into to make it what i want. i could have a really nice car by now but its the fun of building it that keeps me going. Nothing like stepping back and seeing what youve done.

I know some people have way more. On my silveradoss forum theres a few that have well over 100k into theres.

if you take the square root of what Jason (ts4l) has spent you might be close to what I spent! Wait... then divide that number by 4.

I think i have about 15 hundo into the civ hopefully I can get into the 11s for under 2gs ( thats with the purchase of the car included). Being able to fab your own parts saves a PILE of dough. Which is nice cause the more I save the more my wife can blow on useless $#!+!!! Which I dont mind, I really do enjoy working my ass off and having my hard earned money spent on a haircut and some made in mexico nic nac to hang my F_(%!^@ KEYS ON!!! seriously if I didnt have someone to blow my money out the window I wouldnt know what to do! I love her to death butAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGHHHGGHH!!!!!!!!! (of course this post is top secret or I will get cut in my sleep SSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHH!)

$300 for the wheels
$150 for the leather seats
$150 for the CF hood
$70 for the S2K muffler
$75 for the LCA's
$60 for the HID's
$80 for the fogs
$35 for the cooling plate
$135 for the CF Duckbill

Total = $2555 as she sits right now, driving.

The K series swap I got with another shell for $2500. Sold the shell for $1500, and the cf hood for that car for $100, the 17's that were on it for $500, and traded the 5 lug setup that was on it for my SSR Type X's (Worth at least $800). Also sold the black housing headlights from the shell for $150, The SI rear seat from it for $150 and some other misc parts that were extras. I kept the Odyssey battery that came with that shell for my hatch (haven't used it yet), as well as the armrest, ashtray optional center console, and S2000 steering wheel. And I've bought mounts for my swap for $180, and a K-Swap header for $125. I've got too many extra parts I won't need for my swap in my storage unit right now, and need to sell some, but who knows - maybe one day I can use them.

Looking at just over $80,000 without the purchase of the car.

I'm about 17,500 into mine w/ purchase of 11,500. That 6,000 could have just about paid off the damn car instead of making it bad ass... Wait. WTF am I thinking. I wouldn't change a thing!

About $3500 into it so far if you count the rims/tires as far as mods go.

loan for 16,400 for the car and 600 in mods so 17,000. thats nots counting the 500 deductable i had to pay for the 5,000 in damage from the curb. oh shit 1,850 on a new tranny so that makes it 18,850
