Sorry if I came off as a jerk, as I said the first post was more of a joke but same as you I was voicing my opinion. I didn't point at anyone I was talking in general. And I wasn't saying there is anything wrong with you doing some wild stuff, I guess for myself its not something the world needs to know. As you said to each their own.

I work in the Oil industry, I got certified years ago and am still one of only a handful that is certified to do all these tests. Its a sweet job and I get to travel all over. It took a few years to start making good money, but now I just hang out and make Captain do all the work and travel to cool places. As for the car shop I wish you the best if you do go that route. I love working on cars too, but after helping a bunch people I realized I don't think i could own/run a shop. When you have a shop you have to do what the customers want most of which is the cheapest route. I just have a hard time even doing mods if they aren't done right so I usually ended up spending my own money to make sure whatever I did was done right. Its just not as fun for me working on someone Else's car. Although having a dyno would make things more fun that's for sure.

Heliproz was next to us for a while, my brother bought a bunch of helicopters there to use as tests when he was a Gyro plane engineer, I always wanted one after seeing how cool their stuff is. Its crazy their business if so huge worldwide.

thanks! Def would like to go plinkin some time. I have a 10/22 semi auto scoped and also a marlin bolt action .22 with a scope. Nothin big yet.

well where we go prairie doggin.... you'll be lucky to hit anything with a 22mag. most shots are between 200-400 yards.

the Garand is overpriced. just get a Rem700 and put a good scope on it.

Remington 700 in .308 or .30-06 with a good scope is all you should need to reach out and touch something/one. That's what I want to get when I eventually get a scoped bolt action.

Why not just take that money for the Garand and put just some more to it and build a Lawton Machine M8500 (rem700 LA clone) in .338 Lapua? You want to reach ot and touch someonething. thats the round to do it.

OH man I came in way too late on the gun discussion. I'm rocking a Bushmaster AR-15 w/ the heavy barrel. Mo fo is sighted in pretty close to 300 yards (which sucks for dinking around cuz its just too damn far!) On a smaller note, I have a 10/22 that has a modified pistol grip butcher creek folding stock and it holds an 18 inch carbon fiber bull barrel. With my Bipod and the really expensive Velocitors (?) That things good to over 150 yards which is pretty sweet for a 22 that only weighs about 8 pounds. I got 3X9's on both.

BTW Luke I want that Gold Cup!!!! (and your lil heli would kick ass too. Been wanting one of them bastards!)

I have never gotten in to the whole gun collecting thing. I guess if you can go out and shoot a lot it would be a fun hobby... however I already have too many so I don't think I will add that one any time soon.

.300WSM sweet round. My hunting round for killing four legged things too. But I like my .308 too much just cause I can predict what it will do at distance and I have it trained to not miss what I'm aiming at. lol feed the .308 the ammo it likes and it does tricks too.

I got this lil guy. It aint big, but it'll do 70 mph. It's an HPI RS4 that I retro fit with a nitro traxxas 3.3. She's the little screamin demon. God I can't wait to bust these things out when the snow's gone.

I'm one step closer to being Debt free. Got all three cars paid for, no credit card debt, money in savings. Just need to work on paying off the house but I'll probably keep that dept cause I need some tax deductions.

well hell ill never be Debt free. but i have really knocked down my debt this last year in a half. im pretty stoked about that. we have cut our monthly bills down more than half from what they were a year ago. its kinda nice being able to save for once. we got pretty stupid with credit card when we were younger no more of those its really nice.
