Is anyone going to Helena for the Solo Divisional event?

Big Sky Region SCCA (Missoula) is hosting the first Helena event this year, this weekend, info is here:

I see they just extended "early registration" ($35 cheaper) another night, but you have to register online by midnight tomorrow (Wednesday). The Missoula region does a great job at running these events efficiently.

Is anybody planning on going? There should be some great competition considering it is a NORPAC Divisional event. It is also the first of 3 events in the "Montana Challenge Series" where they do cumulative points for the 3 events over the season. If you haven't been to the Helena venue, it is outstanding for fast autocross courses, and also has a small road course section attached with some nice twists and sweeping turns. There is a test and tune on Friday, so if you can get there early you can really get some seat time for your money.

I know Max was thinking about it.... I think the money for hotel, gas, and registration fee has deterred him however.

I doubt anyone else but Randy would want to go right now..... they have coarse workers, rules, and safety standards.... so it probably wouldn't interest anyone else

I drove my car to the end of my driveway last nite.... first time it's moved on its own since everything I've done over the winter. It's not ready to race yet though.

Wow takes a real man to have a response key board warrior style. If you are such a great driver.... you would be able to keep safe around all of the " unsafe drivers".

Finish your car, and show everyone up instead of starting fires here. Ill be at lewistown with the marrow everything permitting.

Rj it would be sweet to make this event, but it wont be this year for me. I want my GTO done for scca and road events like this. Be a way to truly test the work put into it.

No need to stir shit up! It will be a great event for anyone interested in attending. They do NOT allow ride-alongs at Divisional events, or I would offer to take people along as usual.
