Well, every year is a more and more exciting year for me. I see new faces around the car scene daily! Most people that I met back in Spring have done simple, clean and nice installs. Very nice creative touch on everyones cars. I am curious What do some of you have planned.

Example:

Dougy Fresh
2004 STi - finish maintenence by January

Looking at putting a rotated gt3076R with 1000cc Deatschwerks Injectors Walbro fuel pump. Goal: 400hp DD maybe more reliable 370whp DD depends on the tune.. Speaking of that, I plan on trying to learn how to tune my car and possibly make my own maps.

What do some of you have planned, try to keep it on topic and or post once.

Plans for the Venge for 2010:

Wideband w/ digital guage so I can actually tune
Swap out the 5psi spring for 7psi
Full 2.5" or 3" turbo-back exhaust
Full coilovers for Lewistown Smile
Carbon Fiber hood (same style as I have now)

Depending on how things go I may get my rims I've been wanting for a while now, but those may have to wait until 2011.........

I plan on doing a more tuning and possibly testing out a C16 tune.

Also just installed my Carbon fiber trunk, and most of the carbon ducting I made for my oil cooler. Will be installing Bride Vios III Low max seats sometime this month whenever they get into the states, then having a new cage setup built. Still trying to decided how crazy I am going with that. Then as it warms up more cam timing tuning and more dyno time to get my power curve as long and flat as possible. Also should be getting my Kognition Dry carbon wing here pretty soon now that all the tooling is done, will install that and look at making a front splitter to even out the balance of the car.

Doug why suck big injectors? You plan on more power later on? I run 740's with a 3076 and have never seen over 80% duty cycle at 461 hp. If I did it again I would go with 850's as they idle like stock still but would give me a little more room later on. You should do the 1000's and E85 with 100 psi base fuel pressure. That could be a sweet setup for lots of reliable power.

Sounds good to me Jason! I Figured just have larger injectors incase I decided the 3076 wasnt big enough. I am not 100% on the turbo, I really want to do a twinscroll turbo and piping. I think that would be cool, not to many people run twinscroll set ups (that I have seen) on subies.

If you end up wanting to go that route Talk to Geoff at Full-Race, they have built a bunch of crazy twin scroll subies. Peter's suby killed it in the sports car challenge and he was racing track prepped chassis. Plus twin scroll subies sound so nice. The best setup would be a TS 35r. The housing choices on the 35r are much better in the US. If you get a 3076 thats twin scroll its best to get the turbo from Garrett Australia as they have the divided .82 housing while in the US we have either the .78 or the 1.06. The 1.06 is too large unless your reving to the moon. And as I can show with my dyno charts the .78 is choking the exhaust side off.

Well for the upcoming year I am hoping to get this small list of things done...
2.5 semi closed deck w/ the 2.0 DOHC heads
STI pistons, rods
VF39
Deatschwerks 650cc injectors (I have all the stuff, but need to get my poop in a group)
and oh yeah....
RIMS!!!
Also hoping to get my front bumper and lip painted since the guy that did the work is also the guy I bought it from and the paint is coming off all over the joint. I was told that this is a common thing if you don't use a plastic promoter??? when painting.

Install this wideband here and get the tune ironed out. Get the winders tinted. And install some frame bushings and braces and swaybars. Also a boost gauge. After that I think I'll be good for a while. Still throwing the idea around to go forged as my ringlands may go pop for no rhyme or reason.

Planning/Hoping for about 340whp/370tq on the stock turbo.

For 2010 I plan on changing the long awaited "bolt on" look to something fitted more to my style and show off some aquired paint and body skills.
First mod is springs and a front lip. I need to iron out some stuff with my crazy speaker setup. gonna add some carbon and some other "shoulda been done a while ago" parts. The zx2 may not be popular in the eyes of many, but underestimated it sure is. Wink I am not going to miss Lewistown 2010 and I am preparing now...
