| its a 410 ci and the 4718r has a tad smaller exhaust housing that i really need. and 22-25psi the 4718 (aka the 4788) r is good to 1450hp. i need 1000+ rwhp through an auto so i may step up to a gt5594. | |

| 1000 hrsp dam and only 22 psi. I would have thought that turbo can push more than that? | |

I hope you are being sarcastic with the only 22psi bit.... Its only good for 1450 or so. it will push more but i am worried about having too much back pressure.

| Ty each turbo has a different flow rate (CFM=cubic ft/min) I'll explain with turbos that I know about take the MHI 14B and the MHI e316g. lets just say that all are set to about 15psi. the flow rate of an e316g=550cfm, and the 14B=405cfm. Because the 16g flows more air per minute than the 14b therefore meaning more boost more air forced into the engine at a time 15PSI gives you more power on a 16g than 15PSI on a 14B. 15PSI is merely a number you set for the wastegate so that it lets exess exhaustr bypass the turbine housing so that the turbo isn't shoving more air into the engine than it is tuned for.
I hope that cleared things up for you man. I believe my information is damn correct. someone correct anystatemenst I have made

you have to put a bung in pre turbo to check back pressure. i will have my stock wireharness and use hp tuners for tuning on the car.

| id hope i can make 2.45 hp per ci with forced induction lol. ive done 1.5hp per ci n/a already. Ive seen plenty of pte88s (way smaller turbo) on 370ci push well over 1000 rwhp. i don't see any reason why i shouldn't. if the turbo is maxed out (i know the maxing out is an estimate hp #) at 1450 hp with a 18% drive train loss would put me well over 1100hp. im not worried about the hp number as much as the time i WILL run eventually. | |

| 2.45/ci should be easily acheived!
Looks great, what drivetrain will be behind this?
Estimated completion date?

5" for life! Don't think im going to get the camaro done before i move. Im moving the first part of may... but for anyone that is interested i have damn near all the parts together for the mfgto 6.0l with ls2 rotating assemblie hand ported 4.8l/5.3l heads upgraded valves si6cam ported intake and 92mm throttlebody 4k stall converter through a 4l60e auto. it should run a bit better than the camaro did with the 6.0l i had in it. building 2 cars at once is taking its toll on me.

| Holy Crap time flies. good News Baby is on the way and due in November. Still working on the build. Ported a set of 5.3l heads for a 5.3l and boost. Decided to go little less expensive in the build to pay for baby items.
there have been many 5.3l that crank 800 rwhp through a glide out of a "stock" cam swapped 5.3 so it will have to do for now lol. I did d a minor overhaul on my 5.3l and upgraded parts as well.
5.3 heads ported by me (at the machine shop getting the seats cut an valves cut. 2.055/1.60) Custom comp cam Prc .650 lift springs trick flow push rods.
2002 5.3l block and crank 2008 5.3l pistons and rods (way stronger than 1999-2004's) Arp rod bolts Balanced rotating assemblie Perfect circle steel piston rings set up for BOOST Kings Race bearings Dura-bond cam bearings Factory mls head gaskets Pro comp head studs (o yea ebay... used them on many build and had great luck for a fraction of the cost)
Parts im still trying to find is a ls6 intake
going with a 4l80e transmission instead of a th400 so i get a hair driveablity out of it.
the second mouse always gets the cheese.
