a some big group pics would be sic. when it starts to get warm again and everybody starts crusen and runnen their cars at the track i want start shooting a bunch of video footage and maybe edit a cool video to.

I think I remember reading an article on one of those kids... something about him being the first straight edge kid in Billings... it made me laugh. I'm sure nobody in Billings was representing straight edge when those first Minor Threat 7"s were coming out! Oh to be old and jaded!

yeah i have been in the paper twice for being straightedge. it doesnt say that i was the first one cause i would never claim to be since someone had to tell me what its all about. it just said how i was edge when there werent many people who were and then when there was a lot of people who claimed to be and still am now that im 23 there isnt anyone who still is edge. are you still edge?


yeah we wanted to drive the whole pass but we heard they closed it about a week before we planned to go.

I ain't edge but I'm pretty square! No booze, drugs or loose women for me! Well maybe if I wasn't married the loose women would be something to consider. I always hated that label straight edge. I still find it funny the whole Punk scene where everyone wants to be an individual but looks and say the same crap. Be yourself, I ain't punk, I like punk music, skateboarding and pants that let my boys breathe. Stupid street gypsy looking tight pants wearing homo's talking about how tough life is. Get a job if ya want money and a nice things, you have just as much opportunity as the next guy if you weren't a pot smoking hippie thinking the sky is falling! Ok rant over sorry for being off topic.

Did I mention I hate tight pants and kids that think they are the most underground doppest illest person ever. Especially all the kids who started snowboarding last year and think that makes them an expert. Where were you when snowboarding wasn't cool or even allowed at any mountain. I laugh every time I go into Zumiez and some kids try's to sell me something when I realize I started snowboarding before most of them were even born. Good ol 1985, when Skid row was rocking and mountains hated snowboards. Dang I guess maybe I'm just old and don't want my nuts to fall off from wearing tight pants.

I can't comment on the cars to stay on topic because for some reason my computer won't show the pictures and I am too lazy to cut and paste each one.

yeah dude i hear where your coming from. i can stand most the punk rockers and emo kids either. as far as the whole labeling thing goes i hate it that sh*t to. back in high school i remember all the so called punk rockers want to fight me cause i wore band t-shirts from hot topics and the made me a "poser." i gues i dont really see edge as one of those stupid labels though. just a life style. its hard to explain and i dont feel like trying i know what it means to me and thats all that matters.

haha that is seth that wrote that! he is the owner of the blue subaru 2.5rs in the pictures. as a matter of fact i think most of us dont like that picture he is talking about. i know i dont at least. cant see the cars in the back of the line....

There is no punk scene out west. no hardcore scene. no REAL scene. I grew up in hardcore scene through my HS years and after... back in CT and NY. Brotherhood and straight edge and shit is real as fuck back there. Kids wearing tight pants and emo kids didn't dare show up to a show. Posers and scenesters were not welcome. It really was family and it's times i will never forgett. This is coming from a kid who was edge for many years, actively going to shows twice a week, and played for a few bands. Straight edge hardcore is pretty much dead at this point, well cept salt lake city. Don't think it will ever die there tho.

no there is no music seen out here. it seems to come and go. a few years ago there was a show almost every weekend. i use to play in metal bands. i miss those days. there were more to do. i wish i wasnt the only edge person left but oh well. i dont need other people to know who i am.

well shit man sometime u gotta kick it with me and my buddy alex. he's a boston punk kid. moved out here few years ago. like i stated before i was into edge for many years rolling with a crew and everything. crazy fun times and i have no idea how i never got arrested looking back... haha

that awesome. the thing i love about ink is that even if they dont apply to you as much now or they have faded or dont look as good, you can look at them and still remember exactly where you were in life when you got them.

people always ask me what im gona do when im 80 and my tattoos look like $hit and i tell em the same thing every time, "if my tattoo looking like crap is my biggest concern when im 80 then im doing pretty damn good."

good point my friend. no i'm not edge anymore... got out of it when the going was good. Long story short but alot of people started getting in deep shit back east where i grew up. undercover cops started going to shows and having no clue or idea about the culture and well... i bet you can fill in the blanks from there

We'll have to bs tonight and compare some line work. i saw some from Black sparrow and the traditional line work looked pretty crisp. best i've seen out west besides SLC.
