- Billy,
I will give you some quick words of wisdom that might help you out in the long run. Figure out what you want first and then start looking. Before I saw you on the forum you contacted me about my 240. Clearly you can see in my pics that the car is stripped out and caged. Is that something you had planned on driving to highschool? It sounds like you already got into trouble with your first car and now you are just using the shotgun approach to find a new one.
Save yourself and your family the headache of chasing down wild dreams with cars and figure out what you want and why you want it. Then go looking for it. If a 2.5rs is what you really want than keep searching for one and saving your money in the mean time.
That is my "old man" speach for the day, but I hope you slow down a little and figure out what it is you want... so when you do get a new car it is something you are happy with and hold onto for awhile. haha, yeah, i have been flipping cars for a while, and that is kinda what i plan on doing until i find something i REALLY want..i have owned almost 20 cars now, sold ALL of them for profit, haha..its just kind of a hobby.

hahaha, yep, i buy them, drive them for a few weeks to a month, and sell them for more...hahaha, i love it. EDIT- ALMOST 20 cars, i think im at 17 now.. most of them were REALLY low dollar cars, some examples.. 87 Accord, rust bucket, bought for $200, sold for $400..had vacuum leaks that took about 20 minutes and $5 to fix.(old hoses) 1977 Porsche 924, didn't run, bought $800, sold to my neighbor(same condition as i bought it) for $1500 those are just a couple examples, most of the ones i buy have issues, that i fix, and sell.

I'm gonna have to agree. getting rid of one fast car and looking for another one is pretty dumb. common sense tell u that when your dad said get rid of the gsx he wanted u to find something more practical for a 16 year old. ur to in experienced to have a built up 240 or bimmer or even a vr6. just drive your jeep and save your money and decide what u really above all else would want and look for just that. not whatevre someone has for sale. it would save u alot of headache and other ppl alot of time. just my thoughts on it too.

yeah, im not looking for something fast, it would be nice, but i am looking for something comfortable to drive, and something that i can have a little fun with. you guys understood me wrong, being fast isn't a requirement, just a preferred thing..if i find something sweet for pretty a great price, fast can go out the window..it is just one of things that would be nice, but it really doesn't matter.

| FWIW, my brother is selling his 91 Honda civic sedan for $1800 OBO Has high miles, but runs like a champ - note I stressed the "OBO". Also, please notice the fresh "Ice Cream Paint Job!" (Seriously though, we painted it this past winter). I've got a sick ass van I am selling too. Its even got a fresh stripper pole installed in the back of it. Its a cargo van, and slow as shit - your dad would love it: $800. If you buy the van I'll even "accidentally" leave the two full BL Tallcans my roommate put in the back of it yesterday when cleaning out his car. | |

| Well Josh, you should buy it then! I just drove it around town to drop some wheels and tires off to get mounted. Goddamn that thing is slow. Whoever had the idea to put a 4 banger in a cargo van needs to get kicked in the nuts. And Billy - the van gets bitches, I promise. I drove it down 24th by West, and they were flocking to the fence just breaking their necks staring. I almost had to beat them off with the windshield scraper I'll throw in on the deal if you buy it | |
