Im pulling the tri tomorrow and cleaning and kitting them. If they give me sh!t im calling summit saterday. If dad dont go we can take though. Plus the rpm and a 800 might not go under the stock hood.

Pretty much everything is ready to be put back in, we have had the 4ag block and head rebuilt with some clevite high comp. oversized pistons 10.1:1 or 10.3:1 (forgot)?, bored over, etc. We still have to get the tranny rebuilt since it has the mischievous 5th gear pop out known to happen in aw11's. Do some minor interior work (fix some rips and tears), then once all that is finished and whatever else my dad decides to do to it we'll put her back together. Remember we're converting this car from a shitastic automatic to a 5spd. Luckily, my bro and pops have done this before to my bro's '86 mr2 so it shouldn't be too difficult.

Yeah i prob wouldn't need 5th gear but it'd be nice to have . I could still drive my car with the tranny not rebuilt but i would have to hold 5th gear in while im driving, and if you let go the slightest bit, it will pop right into neutral, LOL, and in a higher revving 4ag (redline is prob gonna be around 7700rpm), that ain't the best thing for a NEWLY REBUILT MOTOR. haha, if that isn't complete im going to get my bro to drive his vdub or something lol.

the only problem is i gotta go four barrel dual plane intake and carb first cause i hate my two barrel and im not running nos on a two barrel then ill just get the quad plate instead of adding it with the fuel.

going 4bbl is easy, intakes for 350's are dirt cheap, thats whats nice on your car compared to my truck..everything for my damn truck is expensive as hell.

I'll hopefully be going if it's official. I missed this last one. I heard it was awesome.

yeah performance products makes a sweet air gap dual plane 4 barrel at apc for 135 bucks great. blondiemt see if apc can hook you up with anything i donno how much they deal in mazdas and stuff but they might be able to help you.
