Looks nice but there are somethings done wrong if he ever plans to race competitively, especially the door bars, Sill bars are required as he has but in addition to X door bars or nascar style door bars. Looks like he'll enjoy it, its a little much for my taste, if its all truly carbon and not just factory parts covered then that is pretty cool but I personally would still paint it.

If you look by the pillar there it looks like there is another piece of pipe sticking out? Maybe for a removable door bar? Or maybe the cage wasn't finished in that pic??

yeah i'm thinking a removable bar for the door bar. good idea if thats the case

I think an OEM styled hood would have made it look that much better. I too feel like it is a Carbon overload, but to each his own. I'd have it painted, as it doesn't contrast the body color very well, and doesn't flow with it either IMO.

Other than that, its a pretty cool car - not the platform I'd starty with (the 420a), but you gotta do what you can to what you got I suppose!

Ya, it's really cool to see someone put that much effort into a 420a platform but I just couldn't see myself putting all that money into a $2000 car just to still be slower than a decently built 4g63 or other platform....
