429 ford 1969

Well my friend that lived with me and passed away last november, and left a 1968 ford galixy for me to build. It is just about time to get movin on that project, so i am pulling the 429 that he had put in there along with what i think is a c4 tranny. i dont know the miles on the engine, but before i pull it some one car drive around with it, and see it run. Doenst burn oil. I have no idea what this is worth so i am open to offers. I may be open to trade for mod motor items. im looking to put a 4.6 into the car for the power plant.

If its a CJ block its worth a good amount of cash. And if you do have a c4 trans that is worth good cash. Big block c4 are hard to find .

more than likely a c-6 tranny ,

if u get the casting numbers i can track it for u , , id be intrested in looking at it also , love 429 fords

its a c-6 trans and just a std 429. still runs like a champ!

how much u askin for the 429?

How much power you lookng to make out of a 4.6. I know a guy with one for a pretty good deal. Or I know what one to look for.
