Last night.. my wife is showing our newborn the new snow, this is what I see.



That Chevy was parked for atlest an hour before to get cover'd with the snow....



and stay'd for 3 1/2 hours..... Cops were called, and did nothing. No accident, and not impeding traffic., hell they were quarter of the way on the sidewalk! Cops left... I came in.. went to the bathroom........came back, Chevy was gone.

The reason I wanted to sell the mitz prior first snow almost became very real. I hate not having a garage, and one parking spot my wife puts her Equinox in. Ohwell.

I'm from the south... I hate snow.. lol

Great day to have AWD. I've been rallying around all day. Everyone else is just puttin along, doin 35 on the interstate. We should have some drag races somewhere.

I'm down! Just went for a little drive, I love my car in the snow.

We should go out to a roundabout and get a giant tandem drift going.

Love the snow. Took the Mustang to work yesterday instead of the Taurus just for the occasion.

You know I have been waiting for snow since it melted in the spring. Kiteboarding here I come!

snow doesn't really bother me. im not a huge fan of the negative below weather but i like the snow. plus i have a 4x4 DD so its all good.

Heck if this keeps up over the night I might be able to hit up the field tomorrow and tear it up.

It's not the snow that bugs me it's the damn cold. Almost everyone I know that likes the snow still hates the cold. It just frickin SUCKS.

I love the snow. yay!

And I wish it would get really cold for weeks on end..... although I don't care for the cold..... it seams that I could live with it if it made all the jerk-offs moving into our state and ruining it get scared and leave.

I've always liked that bumper sticker "welcome to Montana. enjoy your stay then LEAVE!" lol

A good stretch of -10 might make that happen

I just hate it when "new" people show up and like our state so much they move here..... but it's not good enough for them... they need to change this and make this or that more civilized put roundabouts in that are half as large as they should be... spend all our state funds on stupid things that weren't broken, take our land rights away.... destroy black otter trail no more hill climbs ever again.... blah blah blah.....

You know if you liked where you came from why did you move here? go back to where you came from and leave Montana as Montana.....

Did I mention I'm still pissed that Lockwood is getting sewer? I voted against it...... I have to pay to get it hooked up to my house (which I won't do until my septic tank fails) and now I still have to pay for something I don't want and I won't use for some time through the means of outrageous property tax increase now! Um.... I moved out to Lockwood so I wouldn't have to pay as much property taxes.... or deal with stupid city ordinances.... and now 5 years later after buying my house it looks like I'll have to sell it before Lockwood becomes more expensive to live in than Billings itself!

Ok..... I'm done now.... really lol

just went and had some fun in the snow. i sure do love 4 wheel drive. kinda makes me want to lift my lil DD a couple of inchs and then go mess around when it gets deep.

Snow always brings out the rally racer in me, I LOVE IT

All day at work I was staring at this turn around the parking lot that I was pretty sure......I could take completely sideways if not backwards and still pull it out

Ya know.... previous years I HATED the snow for the simple fact the SpecV does absolutely horrible in snow deeper than an inch! Now that I dropped the money to get Blizzaks the Spec feels like a friggin tank! I'm driving through side streets where I would normally avoid for fear of getting stuck... so I think I'll enjoy this winter a little more than previous years. Heck, I might even find some time to try something I've never been able to do before... a little snow drifting just for shits n giggles lol.

I just wrote a long paragraoh, and went to send it and it didn't go thru.

So my answer now is. Normally I don't mind it, this year it bothers me. If I get called to work I have to drive thru this crap.

I am pretty happy with the snow right now, but I always get tired of it in a few months. The highways are crazy right now though. I did a little deer hunting last night out past Laurel and coming back I saw 2 roll overs.

AWD with snow tires and a DCCD (Driver Controlled Center Differential ) is the bee's kness, arms and his legs in the winter. I love my STi!!!!

I'd kill to have a controllable center diff. My car is way too nose heavy and loves understeer. If I can tighten up my e-brake, that'll help a lot. I suppose I could throw some sand bags in the back, too. Or better yet, weld on an I-beam as my rear bumper. I'd rather be heavy and have equal weight distribution than light and unable to steer.
