Offroading in Iceland!

Here is a few pics from today, hopefully if the video looks good i'll edit it so you can get a better idea of how sweet it really was. The guys we went with are nuts, I never would have drove off some of the steep hills they took us down and most of the time I thought we were either going to die or be stuck for the rest of our lives. Ended up meeting a bunch of sweet people and stayed the night out in the middle of the mountains and jumping in the hot springs. Makes me wish I had a big truck and a place to really learn to drive.

I'm still uploading the video and its 1 in the morning here so I'll hopefully add more or some video if I have time tomorrow.
I was in the white Nissan most of today, but the Cruiser is world famous I guess, everyone here is obsessed with it. Its got so much crazy stuff done to it and has crossed Antarctica and the only truck to ever cross Greenland glacier. They call it Pamela because as they put it "The tires look like Pamela Andersen's huge silicon tits" We rode in that most of yesterday till we broke some suspension parts, I should have did a write up on swapping suspension parts at midnight in 4 feet of snow ha ha.

wow that sweet. ive watched some off road videos and its nuts what some people will do.

That my friend is a kiteboarders dream. I am going to have to add that to my list of places I need to go. The waterfall is amazing!

Its cheap too, you can fly from Seattle directly here and everything is fairly inexpensive. The food is awesome too, we had 6 lobster tales each for dinner tonight and the people are just like everyone in Montana. They keep teasing us that if we had whales in Montana we'd kill em too. Last night we BBQ'd a lamb leg while we hung out with a bunch of crazy Icelandic kids and then we all ran out in the snow and broke through the ice to sit in the hot pools in the river. Definitely somewhere everyone should come. Plus everyone here thinks the F word is supposed to be use at least 5 times in every sentence so it makes for some really funny conversations.

Mike there were so many sweet places you could Kite board here, huge wide open valleys with lots of wind and good snow. I'll come back with ya!

Sounds like you guys are having a blast... wish I would have joined you and Dad on this adventure!

Pure Awesomeness. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous!

Went to the Blue Lagoon today, pretty nice and relaxing and crazy how blue the water is. The bottom of the pool is Silica sand that you rub on your face and it makes your skin really soft. Kory next time you can come too ha ha, its a sweet place.

Don't tell anyone but I just ate a Steak, a whale steak. Its good we don't have whales in Montana or we'd kill em all cause they are so taste.
