Yep not the smartest choice for winter transportation. Probably got overconfident and figured it was no big deal, he's had the car on the snow before, it'll be fine... Woops

I love how he is pissed at everyone else also....throwing his hands in the air wondering "Why can't I get anywhere." I especially like when the Camry or whatever tools on by him.

I would imagine that there are 2 potenital issues leading up to this.

1. Some people in the southern states know little to nothing about snow. They close down everything if there is a credible chance of snow. This guy might have had no idea what he was actually getting himself into.

2. If I lived in TX, I'd probably have a full on sports car for my daily driver. This guy could be the same, and coupled with some "need" to get somewhere, combined with #1 above... well, yeah.

Kinda funny to us though, wonder if he will keep his 'vette after this incident.

Well I can tell you from experience, and living in Oklahoma for 28 years. I owned my GTO and no other vehicles and never had a time I couldn't drive it. All my life I really can't remember a time where needing a second, winter vehicle was necessary. Things are so different down there when large amounts of snow fall. Typically everything and everyone just shuts down, the close schools, work places, etc. So there really no need to ever drive in bad weather, unlike up here, where they never close anything. THis last storm was huge for them though, I don't ever remember a time that there was that much snow at one time since I was a kid. Definately not something anyone there is used to.
HOWEVER, the simple fact that he was ignorant enough to drive in it is pretty much a sign that he lacks any common sense...LOL
